This much I know is that with every package announced, online videos are then available utilizing those very weapons and their effect.
I've always despised war and understand the US doesn't want to escalate but rather than sending Ukraine the next level of weapon after seeing them suffer without it, send them the next level from the start. I'm not saying send them our latest tech, just what they need to make up for them being out numbered in every regard. It almost seems like we're stringing them along to upgrade our own aging tech and arms.

That's right. The US is sending old missiles to Ukraine and ordering new ones for themselves. So, in effect the equipment offered to Ukraine is an "emptying of the cupboard!" I want to go to Ukraine and pick up the scrap metal!!
That stuff has a shelf life. It costs untold millions to dispose of munitions that are past their expiration date. Not only that the stuff was designed and built to defeat Russia and that is exactly what it is doing now. America is more safe because Ukraine is doing a number on Russia's ability to wage war.
