- What if I was a pokemon gym leader? That's the question I'll be tackling in today's video. I've seen this trend for years and finally decided to give my two cents on it!

Hey everyone. The hydrappe thunder punch thing was something I guess I looked over in scripting. Mixing up its TM moves with other pokemon I was looking at.
My comment wasn't meant as a jab or an oversight, I was legit curious about the move.
I was expecting they could use the other syrpents as fists, I would legit believe it tbh.
It's all good. Everyone makes mistakes eventually on occasions. Still a fantastic and realistic video. 👏🏼
I could go with either Hydro Pump or Earth Power to replace it instead.

If I were a gym leader: I'd specialize in Fire Types (I could get more creative but I don't wanna drag on) My gym will be located at Mt. Ember on One Island and my team will consist of the following with some backstory:
CHARIZARD (my ace and first Pokemon, can Mega Evolve into Y but only reserved for those with 6 or 7 badges): Flamethrower, Air Slash, Solar Beam, Earthquake (FYI it does Earthquake a la Yoshi's Down B from Smash Bros)
HOUNDOOM (Joined team after returning home from Johto one time, became one of the first pokemon used for gym battles): Flamethrower, Beat Up, Thunder Fang, Roar
SNORLAX (Much like Volkner in DP as well as other gym leaders in the anime, I like the idea of having Pokemon that specialize in a type despite being from a different type and admittedly, Munchlax is my favorite baby Pokemon so this is it fully grown up and a "Fire" user):
Heat Crash, Crunch, Sunny Day, Yawn
VOLCARONA (Caught during investigation of Relic Castle, initially too weak for gym battles until many sessions of training): Bug Buzz, Fiery Dance, Sunny Day, Quiver Dance
SALAZZLE (Graduation gift from a friend from Unova Academy): Fire Blast Venoshock, Dragon Pulse, Toxic
CERUEDGE (Newest member of gym team): Bitter Blade, Shadow Sneak, X-Scissor, Iron Head
I like the idea of being a Fighting-Type Gym Leader. Most of the Fighting specialists are martial artists of some sort, but in order to stand out, I'd rather go with a different theme.
Instead of a martial artist, I'd rather my Gymsona be an actor. Specifically an actor who frequently stars in action movies. My Gymsona would do all his own stunts, of course, and shadow actual martial artists like Marshall of the Elite Four, as well as spar with his own Pokémon so that his fight scenes in movies can feel more authentic.
My Gymsona's team would consist of an Infernape, Annihilape, Toxicroak, Hawlucha, Sawk & Pawmot
I'd place my Gymsona's gym in Virbank City, where PokéStar Studios is. (I know thats where Roxie's gym is, so lets pretend her and ger band are off on tour, so my Gymsona stepped in to cover for her in the meantime)
My gym in the pokemon world will be in sinnoh and will be a fire type gym, replacing maylene. My team will consist of a Monferno, Carkol, Hisuian Arcanine and my ace, Electivire which will terastallize into a fire type. This is to show off a regional variant of existing pokemon. I would also give the player a Hisuian Growlithe egg when I'm defeated alongside my badge, the Blaze Badge, and the TM for fire blast. (Yes, I know it overlaps with Flint of the elite four, but remember how lance, the dragon master, was trained by raihan of galar? A similar thing would be done here, with me being trained by Flint).
R.I.P Cilan lmao!! But Unova getting a true grass gym leader is dope and I think Village Bridge was a great location choice! nice to see someone else do this type of video! It's been quite a while. Looking forward to more vids like this bro!

I'm looking forward to more Pokémon game related content. But I still have some hope in my soul of you rewriting the Pokémon Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh anime.
That was incredible. I would love to see. If they ever did remake black2 and white2 I feel like your gym would be in a post game where it's newly made, and we would face you going all out from the start. Along with about 3 more new gyms to go along with the 8 we faced in the main story. You would show up in the middle of the game saying your forming your own gym but it's not ready yet, and we have to wait until we become champion.😊😊😊😊😊

Awesome vid man. If i was a gym leader, i'd go with dragon types as my speciality since dragon is my favourite type. I'd definitely be the 8th gym leader like most dragon users
My gym would be based... I'd say Galar. I like the place. I'd say it's in Wyndon, not too far from the stadium.
My team would be Flygon, Kommo-o, Flapple, Haxorus, Dragapult and Duraludon who would obviously gigantamax, and of course like Raihan, my gym would feature double battles. You have to beat three trainers in a row in double battles before facing me
My team would also be pretty good in covering their weaknesses thanks to the following movesets
Flygon would have dig, breaking swipe, steel wing and flamethrower
Kommo-o would have Clanging Scales, Close Combat, Flash Cannon and Thunder Punch
Flapple would have Grav Apple, Dragon Dance, Dragon Claw and Acrobatics
Haxorus would have outrage, dragon dance, psycho cut and iron tail
Dragapult would have dragon darts, flamethrower, shadow ball and U Turn
And Duraludon would have Dragon Claw, Flash Cannon, Solar Beam and Thunderbolt for any water types with ice moves

Honestly I think it is a really sold team, My only complaint is that the moveset fits an 8th gym leader better then a 5th or 6th, but besides that I can see this gym giving a decent challenge and balancing out between strong fully evolved mons with a type that sucks defensively
also I don't think hydrapple learns thunder punch

I think it would have been even better to make your gym into a writing gimmick. In this, the player would craft a story to test their creative juices, and would at the same time, later test both their and your battle flexibility skills by including what your and their teams (not limited to just your main three-six) looks like, move sets, and other aspects.
They could write the story in any way they’d like, that way it would keep things fresh and exciting

I mean, Bulbasaur used Dig once and maybe Hydrapple was able to use its heads as a fist(???) plus if this got the anipoke treatment, maybe it could teach our hero(es) to think outside the norm with their moves. LOL

My gym would be in Kalos and I would be a Ghost type gym leader in a grand mansion that was rebuilt and refurbished to an extent for home for abandoned Pokémon mostly Ghost types. The challengers would have to explore the mansion and avoid traps set up by the mischievous ghost Pokémon.

So you're a gym leader in Unova who specializes grass types with Hydrapple as your ace partner (with an electric-type Terastallization). That makes sense seeing "Black and White" was your favorite generation and you wanted to improve the worst Pokémon anime (seasons 14 through 16) with a rewrite series and I'm glad that you have Tropius as part of your full team (one of my most favorite Pokémon). If I was a gym leader (or trail captain) I would be in Alola who specializes grass types with Sceptile as my ace partner (with Mega Evolution) so I can get closer to Mallow, if she came to ask you for a gym battle would you accept her challenge?
If I was a gym leader I would be a galarian Gym leader who uses bug types, my gym will be in the slumbering wields and I will be a 4th Gym leader, the gym puzzle is a Trivia about bug type/bug type pokemons and for every question wrong they have to face a wild stat boosted bug type, the 5 bug types in question are butterfree, Charjabug, Joltic, Ninjask, Cutiefly, btw the gym puzzle is optional and the player can battle me right after entering the gym, but when the player starts their gym puzzle their bag is taken away from them and all their pokemons will be at half HP, so by answearing they can get potions, revives and berries which can be kept after the gym battle, my team will be:

Ribombee
Mothim
G-Max Shiny Orbeetle.

If I be a gym leader then I'll be in Hoenn fighting type gym leader but I'm going to use a diverse Pokemon team
My team will be... Incineroar, rillaboom, bliessy, arboliva, cyclizar and my ace is that annihilape. I know it's not a perfect team but I wanted to based on most things when people do play some exercises and most part health care. Like eating healthy, riding a bike and sometimes when you're exercising and training then why not turn on some music?
