Id day the origin anime version of red is from the non-cannon mega evolution timeline
Hold on game wise Cynthia could wipe the floor with ash or Leon Togekiss for their dragon types garchomp for pika milotic for charizrd she has some pretty good counters but the anime has to hold back every single trainer ash faces. Anime wise Leon ash used gimmicks Leon didn’t have z move and a mega
Ashes Pikachu really hit Leon with the "Pikachu toughed it out so that you wouldn't be worried" and "Pikachu hit a critical hoping to be praised"

Ash is literally the anime counterpart to Red. Also before anyone claims I'm wrong, well not only do these two look alike when comparing Ash to Red's original design, but -both are from Pallet Town in Kanto, rival of Professor Oak's grandson, won't evolve their Pikachu, and Red's original name was Satoshi and was in other canons. Heck, Pokemon Yellow is Red's journey with a tad mix of Ash's journey.

Not really, Leon just gave him the advantage it doesn't matter if he earned those gimmicks. It still gives him the advantage and not a fair battle if Leon can only use one. Even if he's the underdog. I still think that Leon is stronger. Leon was so strong that he managed to weaken Eternatus enough to attempt the capture and he managed to tame Eternatus in the anime.
Not to mention that Ash required 3 battle gimmicks in order to defeat Leon.
So I think Leon is definitely stronger.
In the 4min 11seconds Pikachu has turned off his level cap so every regions exp start gathering inside him thus he became the strongest

bit late in the comments, but i wouldnt say this is ash his strongest team in the slightest, he just only uses pokemon he caught in the region and his ace pickachu.
If he'd use other pokemon from previous regions like he did in in gen 5 once, it would've been a lot easier (not saying this team is weak its just not his best).

Satoshi used the Gimmicks 4 times in his battle against Champion Dande. He used GMax Gangar, GMax Pikachu, 10M Volt Thunderbolt, and Mega Lucario. Champion Dande on the other hand only used 1 Gimmick twice all thanks to Mugendaina/Eternatus. My argument is that Dande-San is stronger than Satoshi if we remove the plot Armor and think logically. The way Satoshi's Pikachu received a power boost from his allies, the same way if Rizadon remembered his journey with Dande-San all those years when he was on the brink of defeat, then I am very sure that Rizadon would've come on top. I am a Champion Shirona Fanboy but I do not hate Satoshi at all, but I do feel the placements in this video are a bit off.

Mustard was an undefeated CHAMPION for 18yrs, not a Fighting type gym leader for 18yrs (he could have but the lore talks about Mustard being unbeatable as champion for 18yrs) and retired mainly because a promoter tried to fix a fight for him to win and he declined, stepping down.
