    Very Helpful and detailed review, Perfect job thanks
    Just a I have a question, what dese the Cadence sensor for?

    • @lavithhcm
      @lavithhcm  Před 4 měsíci

      In a sense, cadance sensor is for me to know if i want to train muscles or cardio. If training cardio i want to keep it above 90-100 reps, if i want to train muscles, i keep it low. This is not entirely true though. It is also a metric letting u know how to spend your finite amount of energy at optimum rate. Generally, cadence of 70-90 regardless at what gear you are on is consider optimum.

    Hi! Really nice review. Does it pick the speed from the gps? Or it needs the special sensor to do that?

      It picks up the wheel speed from these sensors s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DDzDPR1
      I just order a new set (2 sensors) for my other bike.... for $14 CAD. Sometimes, you can get it dirt cheap. Add to cart but don't order yet... revisit the site and they give you limited deal for those items. :-) Best of luck.

    Hi @Di-Ai-Why Thank for the video!
    At the end you mentioned that your Cycplus M1 picks up the heart rate from your Garmin watch - I was trying to find info on how to do that, but nothing came up - would you be able to shed a bit more light on how to connect these 2?
    I also tried finding my Garmin from Cycplus C2 menu, but didn't seem to work.

    • @lavithhcm
      @lavithhcm  Před 10 měsíci +1

      When you are in C2 menu, you just go into your garmin watch and turn on biking activity. The bike computer will pick up your heart rate right away. Please remember you need to disconnect your bike computer bluetooth to any phone you have connected. Hope it helps

      @@zwierzu1989 i checked the spec of your forerunner 245, i think it should work just fine the Cycplus M1 bike computer. You just need to add biking activity to your favourite. Turn it on and scroll up to go into settings. There is setting where you tell your watch to broadcast your heart rate, and bike computer will pick up just fine in C2 menu. In addition, if you have cadence and speed sensors on the bike, your watch will also pick up those signals as well.

    I have bought this unit primarily because of its barometer and the gradient indicator. I had hoped I would get more reliable and precise gradient values than with GPS, especially in the mountains. But it is really disappointing: on a constant gradient of 5% the indicator continously fluctuates between 0° and 10°. And it doesn't matter wether I use GPS for distance or the Cycplus speed sensor (ANT+ mode). What is your experience?

    • @lavithhcm
      @lavithhcm  Před 3 měsíci

      I live in a relative flat area so i dont pay attention too much to grad. Maybe the unit resolution is not that great. With that being said, i did extract the recorded stats from the unit in this video czcams.com/video/P9BP5jWBlUA/video.html and display on screen. Its not what you are looking into doing because it's complicated but give you an idea what is recorded behind the scene. So my take on this is that the unit is recorded data every second but not able to display real time grad. And its gradient is 10° resolution. One other hand i will double check my own unit to see what it does and how it displays the grad info. I will get back to you as soon as i find out about my own unit

      @@lavithhcm Thank you. I had watched your Dashware video before I commented here and the gradient values seemed much more smooth and realistic( as far as I can say) and certainly not fluctuating. Btw I have bought my unit in nov 2023.

    Hi. Any ideas how I change the distance measurement from feet to meters?

    • @lavithhcm
      @lavithhcm  Před měsícem

      Yes. Not a 100% sure but you can try this. Just need to press and hold right button until you get like c2 page ( where you can setup your speed, cadence, heart rate sensor) just keep cycle thru that right button untill you see mph "page" then you can change to km/h. That should default to SI unit measurement where GPS elevation would be in meter.

    • @lavithhcm

      Your tire has some ETRTO number printed on it in a form like 28-622. Look up in Google search for reference circumference. Most likely you may have to enter 2136mm in that circumference setting menu. So enter that number. Best of luck! 👍

      it can use GPS signal to give you speed, elevation.... So without any sensor it would still show you correct speed out in the open road. But once you go into the wood/forest, GPS speed, distance might not be so accurate after all.
