TREASURE FOUND Metal Detecting BIZARRE Flower Patch in the Forest

- Early Colonial Home Site!! The Flowers were a dead giveaway. Daffodils don't randomly grow in the woods. If you see a flower patch you'll probably find an Iron Patch as well. This day we were invited to a friends hunting property where he knew an Old Colonial House once stood. The flowers gave it away. John is new into the hobby and Invited us to help him with his machine and do some metal detecting. Unfortunately this site had already been pounded by the locals over the years, BUT that didn't stop us from finding some incredible old treasures! Everything from Early Silver Coins to RARE Military Buttons!!

Happy Hoover Boys Day!
Very cool hunt. I think your big swirly button is a drawer pull. I found one just like it at an early site. congrats on that VA button. It's the coolest thing you got. Thanks!
Jeez Muck, you need a new bag. I can see the ground, lol
I've watched your videos religiously but looking back I haven't tuned into an episode in 4 months. I'm 32 and my grandpa just died suddenly out of no where on the 13th at 89 years old just weeks shy of his 90th birthday. I've lived with him my entire life. He raised me and then I took care of him until his final day. We fucking LOVED metal detecting and now I'm sitting here regretting every single day that we didn't go out in the last 4 months. We used to go out and I'd look at my watch and somehow 5, 6 ... 8 hours would go by in the blink of an eye. I tried going out by myself the other day but it was so lonely. I didn't even make it 2 hours before I gave up and went home. Thank you for posting these videos. It's hard to see through the tears but it's like I have a friend again.
I am always impressed that you guys take care of mother earth on your treks.
The one pistareen I've found was also a 1717 and was found on an old cart path while I was just wandering around the woods. It was only an inch or two down. I wish we could post pics here in the comment section.
Hermoso lugar para detectar..👏👏
in the south , we look for Pecan trees and azaleas, to tell us about old home sites!
Where I'm at, we keep an eye out for apple trees, persimmon trees, daffodils, or odd holes in the fields.
As always I like my Wednesday shot of THE HOOVER BOYS and Kurt I apologize for what my ASTROS are doing to your Orioles lol 😆 lol
The morse code device looked like a Model T points set.
Awesome vid!! What a fun hunt!!
Bill would have loved this site 😃👍🏼
I’m on vacation but I can always make time for The Hoover Boys!
Much appreciated! Enjoy vacation
Same here 😂😂
Vacay starts on Friday for me! But I hear ya! I’ll be thinking about y’all next Wednesday ( @🏝) 😂😂
Beautiful site. That morse code key, pistareen, & great seal button are wicked!
Great reveal on that cut pistareen!!
Loads of fun love how the daffodils have survived all this time. Happy digging and eat your lunch
Good lord . It's Wednesday already 🤯 where does the time go.. have a great days hoover nation 👊🏻
Thanks! It goes way too fast
I know right
Best day of the week
Really nice looking to see the daffodils flourishing so strong
TGIW! Always look forward to jump day. Happy belated fathers day to everyone!
Lol oops....... hump day!
This hobby will tear us up, my back, knees and wrist are all sore from 30+ years of beach detecting. You guys found some beautiful area. I am looking forward to the next episode.👍😎
I"m a leftie. Grew up hunting parks in MN, swinging a really heavy old un-ergonomic White's Coinmaster. Today my left hand is sort of arthritic!
Happy Wednesday! Great video Kurt!
Thanks!
I understand what a pistareen is. Super nice find! I barely have ever metal detected and best find was a silver ring. Go get em Hoover Boys.
Some nice buttons and bits and pieces of the past out of the ground. A piece of cut Spanish and a sweet Virginia button. Happy hunting and be well
Great hunt!
Tell Bobby to get with it! 😉😄
We miss his silliness!
Great show thanks guys, much appreciated and as always stay well.
Moose was loving that tree
I would not even dream it is possible to dig a telegraph. That is amazing. So to me that made this dig far beyond the possibilities of my mind.
God bless you all Nora C
It seems that a large estate with riverfront would have a dock
or landing for boat traffic/deliveries, etc. I bet the previous hunters
didn't check the water..........
That is a difficult find a cut pistareen. Well done
Hey Kurt
Won’t be long until you are at 100,000 subs!!
Love your channel, thanks for all you do 👍🏻
Sat down to put my shoes on to go detecting myself and I got the notification! So what's another 20 minutes? The stuff I'm looking for has been there for many, many years! LFOD!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Here’s what The Hoover Boys do for me ......
A Caretakers day - My Mother who suffers from Dementia is my soul responsibility Today she was extremely paranoid delusional & just plain ornery !! Now she naps
Like a Tonic this Hoover Boys installment took me away .... I can actually feel my blood 🩸 pressure going down ..... So from the bottom of my ( now ) slower beating heart ❤️ THANKS for doing what ya do !!
For Those About To Dig
I Salute You ! !
🎸🤘🎸🤘🎸🤘🎸🤘
Wow, Kurt, your machine seemed really loud in that woodsy area while looking for that cut silver.
When I was working on the Pacific Crest Trail, I brought a toilet seat and attached it to a bucket. I never would have sat on that tree. LOL 🤣
I really liked that area. Hopefully, you brought some flowers home for your wife.
Thanks for sharing your adventure.
You found some cool things. Great hunt and video. Catch your next one bro
Great video boys! Love y’all and God bless, Wil
Oh man you totally called that cut silver! I am so impressed. And congrats on the VA button. :-)
Great hunt and as always thank you for sharing
Squirrels are notorious for digging up and "re-planting" daffodil bulbs.
Dude! A Virginia one piece and cut silver!!! epic hunt! Congrats
The daffodils brought me here. My favorite flower.
I'd like to see the rack on that buck! Y'all had a good hunt. I love that Civil war button. Congrats on the cut silver! 💖
I hope one of these days, ya'll find a real treasure chest filled to the brim with silver & gold. Ya'll deserve it !!! I'm new to metal detecting & was wondering why a coin would be cut like the one you found??? Enjoy your Week!
Many times back then a coin was cut in half or in quarters to make change. Usually done for things that cost less than a cent.
@@unoleagotiya5583 Thanks!
Nice hunt! I like the quarter cut coin! 😎👍🍀
Thanks 👍
Congrats on the Pist Kurt. Telegraph machine is a cool relic. Natural Toilet? Ha. Who knows what would bite your ass sitting on that. Great bunch of finds fellas.
Love this. Great seeing you all at a different type of dig setting too.
The big swirl button looking relic looks exactly like 2 of my rosettes. The road wasnt detected probably because whoever is trespassing didnt want to leave obvious holes in the road. Still some good finds!
Working so hard. Surely they knew it had been hit hard by others. But they didn't get it all. Better luck next trip!
Awesome video and finds. Looking forward to seeing more videos. Happy hunting and good luck 👍 👍👍👌
I dug a 1956 class ring in a small town in Missouri at an abandoned house .. I returned it to the owners son two days before father's day .. His dad passed in 2009 ... That was a great day for both of us ...
Love the show need all the boys together
Nice silver dude! You worked hard for it. Good Job!
Had one of those toilet trees in my grandfather's woods- made sure we brought a roll with us
Another great video- tough work today - all finds well earned ! All the best from Canada- Paul the Nickel Guy .
That was my first 1700's silver I found was a cut spanish reale! Great job! So much fun finding those, cheers and hopefully the next one is the whole coin!
Nice hunt with some good finds. Carl
Awesome find on that VA. Botton, didn't think I've ever seen one of those before. Oh, and of course congrats on the cut silver
Animals are notorious for digging up and replanting bulbs. I have many flower beds and have plants coming up where I DID NOT plant them. I occasionally find a bulb on the surface half eaten. Squirrels are probably the worst bulb bandits but other animals also dig up and eat bulbs.
Cut some Daffodils to take home for ur Lady!!! 💐😘
Great video!
I'm ready for your water hunt's, best water hunting videos on CZcams. 👍🤘
Muck is great with the camera. Especially on that cut Spanish.
Nice day out and finds. 👊
Awesome hunt and video Kurt! Love all of the cut silver you guys find!
Great content! Love this channel! 🙌🏻 Happy Hump day! 🙃

Thanks Julie. Figured I'd post before I forgot
Great find... gotta love that old old silver....✌️

Semper Fi to John. USMC 79/85 here.
At least you got the cut pistareen and that VA. button. Better luck next dig.
Where’s my foo? I’m discombobulated! 😂😂😂You guys are too much! TGIW
Nice finds guys
another great vid how awesome
No telling what was there before the trespassing guys got there. Good hunt and scenery
Great finds, even the newer morse code device.
Kurt, that piece you're calling a morris code key looks to me like the top of a Ford Model T coil box. Maybe?
Bill, that was my first impression also.
A Morse Code device lololololol "Telegraph Key" mate.
Cheers Kurt 🍺
Great video, way to get your cardio up
You make wensday great again. Another great video
Hope you boys are doing good. Make sure you take lots of gatorade....its bout that time its going to get horrible hot
West coast history buff. Thanks for having such a good time digging history not available here. Loving your stuff! About to inherit on my first machine. Something ancient
certainly, but activity is movement in the right direction. Upgrades will follow results of lack thereof.
Kurt..if you clean that VA button up can you let us know how you cleaned it and show us the final product...thanks
I could see someone sitting on the hole in that tree as a joke picture and not looking first and having a possum or raccoon attacking their @$$ ... Pun intended 🤣
CONGRATS on the 1/4 (17 ?) PISTEREEN , and the 1 Piece VA. STATE SEAL BUTTON!! NamVetLesTreasureSeeker.
Thanks Lester
Semper Fi John!
Yes hi Kirk it's Mark I know you're busy man but I found this thing that I do believe is a coin but a very very old it come out of the ground White and it has some fancy stuff on it like a
Do you guys ever find any meteorites
Definitely found some maybes
What would make these videos even better than they already are would be to tell us what the coins, or in this case, that pistareen, could buy at the time. A drink, some flower, corn, wagon rental? Love the videos
The telegraph key is a cool find . Early I-Click ? lol
Love to watch you guys. My plan was to retire at 59. Golf. A lot of metal detect ing didn’t work out for me. Health issues so thank you thank you for doing what you do. I dream at night about the hunt. Great finds in my dreams
Beautiful area. Nice place to detect. 82 days to retirement.
What is sad is thinking about just how much you found, vs what you would have found if people did not trespass and hunt there before you did.
Just noticed the Welsh Flag badge on your hat! Now multiple reasons to watch your videos
A good friend sent me that
Squirrels plant those bulbs . They dig them up them plant them for winter food. They have to be replanted and divided in order to keep blooming .
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Awesome hunt. Beautiful cut pistereen (sorry about the spelling). That pewter button you dug Kurt, looked like it was slightly heart shaped.
Nice cut brah
How did I miss this one!!??
take away the indian head and the pistereen and it looks just like one of my typical hunts!!LOL
You still managed good things despite the poachers.
The swirly button/drawer pull thing you found is a bit boss. Not saying it’s French marine but the only two I’ve ever seen dug were at two separate French/Indian war forts. Chigg just found the other one I’ve seen at fort upper tract. I found mine at fort Shirley. Good find brother! Mine was found 2 feet from a French marine coat button.
