IDH Episode 46: On the Hunt for a Civil War Camp-Metal Detecting in Louisiana

I'm back down in Louisiana metal detecting with my brother in this short episode and we're on the hunt for a Civil War camp. My brother makes a great save and we manage to make it a pretty good hunt. Thanks as always for watching!

No way I’d throw away a twin heart silver ring. Sterling ones date later than the ones that say “coin.” Maybe others would toss them out…I’ve dug 6 of em so far. Manticore? $$$ 😂

So far, I'm loving it. Still learning it, but it's def more sensitive and precise than the 800. I'm still playing with the preset modes and testing targets out, but I think I'm really going to love it once I get truly comfortable with it. The target trace display just adds a whole extra element to getting a sense of what the target it. Very happy so far.
