That's the way to do it. Also big lump of bread flake or cheese..... My best catches on the Severn were always working for it like this... not sitting around staring at a rod tip. Great to see this :)
Not even watched it all yeslt but the fish were queuing up nicely. Hard not to be envious when I live so far away from the rivers! Lovely fishing can't wait to give the float a go on running water again. Hoping to get one last day on the wye this season hopefully levels depending! Tight lines Jon
A masterclass in pin fishing. Every barbel and chub angler should have this method in their armoury, lovely positive way of fishing. The TF Gear centrepin is a brilliant bit of kit. Recommended. Great video.
Only just spotted your comment Will 😓 Thanks for the kind words! Can’t wait for the season to reopen so I can get some more in the net 😎 I now own an Adcock Stanton centrepin, but I must say the difference between it and the TF Gear one is minimal! Tight lines buddy! 👍🏼
Thanks buddy 👍🏼 Trot with no freebies to begin with and see what happens... if nothing, or slow, loosefeed hemp. I rarely feed meat to be honest. I have been know to feed halibut micro pellets occasionally too
Hello again, What’s the butt diameter of the blank just above the handle on that rod? Someone told me it was 2.5cm (1”) which seems wide for a carbon rod?
I know im asking the wrong place but does someone know a tool to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb forgot the account password. I love any tips you can give me!
@Alfonso Darwin thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Just watching this 3 years on since i last commented. I'm laid up after an operation but this is keeping me going

Chris great videos, do you loosefeed meat or hemp at all or are you just trotting meat with no freebies?

@Alfonso Darwin It did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thanks so much you saved my account !
@Sterling Ronnie happy to help :D
If that’s the J W Young 13/15 Trotter rod, are you using it at 13ft or 15ft?
It is mate yeah, fishing it at 13ft. It’s a bit too heavy for my liking at 15ft
Nice fishing Chris! Just the best way to catch for me! Is this a BAA stretch?
Thanks John 🙏🏼 Yes it is BAA, Kinlet stretch
Shame the BAA don't do day tickets anymore! I'll have to stick to my club waters on the Warks Avon.
I fish the Avon on BAA too, seem to have more look with Pike than Barbel on there though
So boring !
😂
@M i Don't think twice, it's alright.
@M i You don't say !
@M i Sleep well then.
