those were really good cars in their day. Shame to see one have its soul ripped out. I belive cars should be kept running as long as is absolutely possible and should only be sent to the scrapyard when they are well and truly fukt beyond repair or if its a prius
I think the grandchildren tried to convince granny to cash this Town Car for a hybrid, but granny refused it because still ran and she inherited from her husband, so it had some sentimental value to her. Then granny died and the grandchildren inherited, but didn't want it.
had the roof not caved in I would be intrested in restoring it or at least using it as a parts truck for another F100, the front fasia and front bumper appear to be salvageable
Toms Chevelle I work at a junk yard, and they don't give 2 shits what you do. At my junk yard we follow the rules and our crusher has a pan for fluids, and we drain them into pans in the yard as we inventory so we don't spill fluids, but they don't care what junk yards do now. I can go out and cut every rad hose and show them and they wouldn't give a shit. I don't like doing it, I like to be a nice parts puller and pan everything, I don't like people draining onto the ground, I yell at my co workers when they don't.
FromThe3PointLine yeah it'll replace the electric chair, you'll still be strapped in a chair but there's a crane that grabs your head and twists it 180 degrees around, tearing it off in the process
This particular generation of Town Car was an utter pile of shit in terms of quality, performance, economy, etc. 1990 models only had 150 horsepower out of the 5.0 Windsor v8, and the Signature Series dual exhaust would raise it to 160! lol.
I'm disgusted that they don't drain the fluids. Talk about pollution! They may as well undo any good they did for the earth by recycling the car in the first place.
Seems like a waste of an engine... and probably $1000+ in other parts as well. Then again, for all I know it couldve been totally seized up or something but still...
Actually, scrap value for a vehicle, when u segregate all the different metals, isn't more than 1,500 total. At u pull it place parts r cheap as hell. So not really dude
Dudes slow as shit. Get it's for a video, but where we are at, we do 20 motors in about 1.5 mins. That's w the trans, and cats attached. Our equipment ain't brand new either!!
that's like reaching into someone's chest and pulling their heart out
I dont know why but I found this disturbing :(
Me too

@@TheBunnyDeveloper agreed hybrid peices of crap
Or if its a EV, they can go from the salesroom straight to the junkyard
@@Simon_r2600 correct and right
Ouch. That's before the town car had the 4.6. This one has a 5.0. That makes it an 89/90 model
what was that you said, you wanted a 1/2" or a 9/16" wrench ?
All those liquids polluting the soil..
That car was in good shape !!!!

its like the car is clinging to life and the lift rips the engine out at blood squirts in the cars face as it dies
OK, so ALL the liquids are allowed to drain into the ground? wow.
brrrlak no but getting every last drop out is impossible, most of the fluid is drained and recycled
THEY OBVIOUSLY NEVER DRAINED THE RADIATOR . I COULD TELL YOU HORROR STORIES ABOUT HOW MUCH LIQUID WE SPILL EVERY DAY......
Don't you have regulations in place?
@@brrrlak NO ONE CHECKS..EVER
in 2021? Scary.
i want the western wheels
This machine can also be found at your local abortion clinic
Same style of ripping apart and destroying.
Shouldn't they drain fluids first? Does the EPA still exist?

Gotta pay somebody to tear it all down and test the parts. More money in scrapping a whole mountain in the same amount of time.
That's just wrong

Total waste, Good AOD transmission core broken. This is one way they are making it impossible to restore old. Smash all the parts!
