    Great video!
    Can the extended map in the gauge cluster display Google maps from Android Auto?

    Hi
    Nice video.
    The new pcm version. Is this downloadable, or shall I contact the dealer?

      This is currently not downloadable. It may be a PCM update within the foreseeable future.

    Hi, i’ve a question: does the passenger display work even if there is no passenger while the car is going? thanks

    • @Johnncasella
      @Johnncasella  Před 2 lety +2

      The passenger display will not operate without a passenger when driving the vehicle. I’d assume it’s a safety feature that Porsche put into effect since they wouldn’t want the driver reaching all the way over to the passenger side to mess with the display while driving.

    If you change the suspension height in PCM, say in normal mode, is that height retained in the future for normal mode?

    • @Johnncasella
      @Johnncasella  Před 2 lety +1

      It will not save, if you change any suspension settings or drive settings it’ll revert back to all normal once the car is powered off and on again.

      @@Johnncasella Thanks - some people on Taycanforum noticed that it retains for their cars, but sounds like they may have had glitchy PCM. Would prefer it that way actually, but makes sense that it's not designed to be retained

      From my knowledge, any type of of driver car setting you set during driving will revert back all to how it was aka just all normal. So no sport suspension/sport mode it’ll go back to normal once the vehicle turns off and back on again.

    Tell me there’s a way to make the colors monochromatic again. The screen is too fussy; it looks like a fucking Christmas tree now. And why do you need nav/media/phone/ controls on the far left when they’re already to the right [and at the top of the lower screen?]

      Good question about the color changing, I’d have to look into it. And as far as why they put basically duplicates, beats me! The Germans designed all the Porsches quite odd, like for instance no forward/previous button on the wheel to make it easy to change stations lol

    with a realistic range of 350-400 km its a joke to recommend only to charge to 80%.

      80% is recommended for all electric cars to preserve the battery.
