I backed the recoil version 2x a week or so ago but won’t get them until May, I can’t wait. Great video you did here and will be very helpful when I get them as you covered all of the setup. Hey Nick. These guns are awesome. I am in the process of getting all my light gun games to work with them. There is a lot of software tinkering depending on the emulator. Thanks for checking out my video. I'm glad you liked it. I really enjoy your streams. Once I get a Vpin cab, I will pick your brain on streaming setup and software. I am tempted to try to stream with just my 3 screens and keyboard or at least film some videos. I still grab all the new tables and modded tables that come out.
@@RogjosGamingGadgets can’t wait to get mine but a LONG way from that lol. Are you planning on building a VPIN? They are awesome but it’s not an easy road to get there. If you have any questions with anything then let me know. How do you like the recoil on the guns? That is the feature I am looking most forward to and I love how it works in auto mode too.
@@RogjosGamingGadgets also, you can easily add the 3 screens to OBS and stream / do videos. I am sure you probably knew that but if not it is very easy to get going. I could help you with that as well.
@@Rastan350 Yeah. I need to sit down and figure OBS out. I have installed it, but not sure of all the settings. I'll watch some videos on it. I'll reach out to you when I get ready to try it out. Thanks.
@@RogjosGamingGadgets yeah, there are tons of videos on it. But in a nutshell, if you are just wanting to record/stream screens then all you need to do is open OBS and then add display captures and choose each screen, resize all three to fit in one screen/window and then add you mic input device. Check some videos out and if you need help just let me know. Just saw your HOTAS video pop up, I need to watch that :)
next time you edit this you should have area 51 playing over you the entire video cause it was easier to hear what you said :P

They are not that bad, they add another level of immersion to light gun games.
Great video and very helpful! I've been going back and forth about getting one, I'm still undecided, but I really like the idea of using it with my pi 4 to bring to friends house. How is it now with the different software updates that have came out?
The software updates have made it easier to use for sure. I'm waiting for their update where you only need to run one instance of the software for two guns. I really like these guns. I might try the Gun4IR in the future, they are super expensive though. Thanks for watching.

Did you have to do any additional configuration to get your gun to work inside coin ops? I'm having trouble with my sinden gun inside a coin ops build called, The Arch's Light Gun Build inc Carnevil
Thank you for the video. I think i will go without the recoil. That clacking is kinda annoying sound after a few minutes.
I hear you. You can also deactivate the recoil in the software, but the recoil version costs more.

I know my voice couldn't compete with the TV audio. Next time I will have my audio much louder. Thanks for watching.
So how do you steady the cursor when aiming? Which camera tweak helps stabilize the arrow because mine is wiggling back and forth a lot!

Scratches on the buttons are most likely from being shipped with the metal holsters and rubbing in shipping

So it just naturally works? No need to do any special setup within Mame?
No. You will have to still go into the MAME settings and set the buttons and trigger for the game. It's not too complicated.
HI! Can i just buy the red lightgun and play alone as player 1?
Yes, you can.
My recoil is not working, it was a kit I installed on a non recoil version but nothing happens when I hit the trigger even after following what you did in the video, any ideas would be much appreciated thanks
What type of recoil kit did you install in the gun?

If you go through the Sinden software are you able to activate the solenoid? I'm not familiar with the upgrade recoil kit.

Unfortunately my Sinden guns are not that accurate. It's over hype. The switch controllers are equivalent or a little better. It might be my 82 inch TV also. I haven't tried it on a smaller tv.
