Sony A6700 Video Stabilization Comparison

  • The left image is using the SteadyShot feature set to "Active" (which is usually the most agressive); but because the camera embeds shakiness metadata in the video file, programs like Sony's Catalyst Prepare can stabilize the video even further, and doesn't produce wobbly video like Adobe's Premiere Pro is wont to do. Of course this is speeded up, but you can get a feeling for the level of improvement the desktop software offers.

    Is this new built in stabilization for video, or post processing? I have the a6600 now which doesn't stabilize video very well at all within the body itself, only post. Is the right sided footage straight out of box? I have thr 18-135 sony lens
