- Interior designer Natalie Tredgett walks us through her vibrant and curated townhouse in the heart of West London.
For more extraordinary home tours, visit our website: homeworthy.com
Natalie’s townhouse is a celebration of bold hues and unexpected patterns, from lush greens and bold blues to soothing pinks and cheetah print fabrics. Every room in her home showcases her belief that “color is a neutral,” and she ties it all together seamlessly.
The architectural heart of Natalie’s home is her kitchen, uniquely situated in the center of the house and presented as more of a long corridor than a typical kitchen - proving that unconventional spaces can be both beautiful and practical.

What a delightful, joyous and giving woman. We are not here to like or dislike the decor but rather appreciate the gift of being let into people's private spaces who are so gracious in sharing their homes and design expertise and ideas. Bravo Homeworthy!
One of the most informative and educational Homeworthy videos. This woman is a terrific speaker and explainer. Although I wouldn't care for some of her furnishings, her creativity is inspiring.
The home owner is knowledgeable, educated and pleasant. Her aesthetic sensibilities leave me cold, however. I also thought the kitchen located in what essentially is the corridor leading into the L/R to be a rather odd choice... But then art and architecture are subjective.
Ms Tredgett is an original and an incredible extemporaneous speaker. No ums or uhs or tripping over words. Love the kitchen. Highlighting just the floor and ceiling with stunning decoration is very unique and beautiful. The portrait art of the children is mind blowing. What a talent.
She's such a lovely speaker, I could listen to her for hours
Whether one likes her style or not, you need to realize that she does the most important thing that a really good designer does, she educates !
She is indeed a creative designer and is gifted with regards to her use of language.
I find the host interesting and informative, providing rationale for the design decisions she’s made. Many homes featured on Homeworthy do not necessarily reflect my style but do provide inspiration and ideas I can utilize in my home.
Appreciate the wide variety of design styles presented in Homeworthy videos. Have found each host delightful and creative!
She is such an amazing designer. I loved seeing how she works. Her use of color is wonderful.
One of the best episodes! Bravo to Natalie for such an eccentric taste, great sense of colour and impeccable presentation skills!
This is definitely one of my favorites. The mix of colors, patterns, and textures is fantastic.
Being a paper crafter myself, I love the “paper piles” artwork in the waiting room. Our host is elegant and chic. Her children are so fortunate to have a mother who benefits from her creative spirit! Oh, and she also looks amazing in that dress!
What a treat to listen to Natalie speak about her home and why she has chosen each aspect of their interior. I also love that their home is small and relatable for those of us who do not live in mansions.
Eclectic and unique for sure! Definitely playful and it truly expresses that your home should reflect your personal creative style.
I'm in love! This home is playful, fun, and full of life! We're seeing it completely clean and clear, but I can imagine kids and pets running through it, items from day to day living lying around, and plenty of activity. It's welcoming and friendly. I'm impressed by the use of all the different colors and that it doesn't break up the flow of the home. I am a big fan of color and whimsy and she does both so well. This home could be anywhere. It could be in England, the States, France, Germany, etc., etc., etc. That thought has never come to surface in any other home I've seen. What an accomplishment! She's given me a new, fresh way to look at things, and I'm excited to apply some of the things I've learned in my home. Thanks for the tour!
First, let’s talk about the homeowner… What perfect enunciation! So rare to hear someone speak so beautifully! The home is lovely, the furnishings are fabulous, so wonderfully curated. Another fantastic episode 👏🏼
What a fabulous place and host!
Love this home. She knows what she likes, has a vision, and executes in it well. I would gladly stay / visit / live here!
I love how she described her home I could listen to her for hours,, her kitchen was my favorite,, it was the perfect size and not too big but it looked grand !
I Love this woman... She's AMAZING! I enjoyed her home and her stories.
Lovely home but I couldn’t stop looking at the dress! So pretty! Victoria Beckham?
What an absolute beauty just the preview. Will be back to watch the entire video later on.
A very eloquent lady with a pleasant aura in a beautiful dress. I really appreciate her taste even though most of it is not my style. It's her personality with her style equisitely put together so I couldn't help but admire it.
I actually for once enjoyed listening to the descriptions of the items in Natalie's home. Normally this bores me and forces me to fast forward, but, I actually enjoyed her describing the details in her home. Great job, good speaker, very educational. Thanks for posting.
Such a nice lady. And with a lovely taste for texture layers and colours. Love it❤
I love the unique vision of Natalie Tredgett’s creativity. Her home is truly one of a kind. I cannot understand some of the mean spirited comments found here. Why not simply move on if her home and her presentation is not to your liking?
Awesome colors in wallpaper
Of her bedroom ...the headboard unic ...lovely.
The entrance color I felt was coming to the doll house....
Wow! The wall pic at her studio...cozy.
I love the decor of the ceiling in her kitchen ...it give you a wow! Feeling...
Blessings...
you in that dress... fantastic! espically love the swivel chairs
Being a minimalist with a mini-flair for colour popping to add life to my cottage which has neutral painted walls, I anticipated a complete breakdown at some point in this video unless sedated. 😂
I LOVED IT. 😂
I REALLY DID. Brilliant. The thinking behind the many choices, decisions, and the history (herstory) was utterly fascinating. I almost wept over your mum's Christmas gift to you in the bathroom.
You've given me ideas I intend to implement in due course...like, tomorrow. 🎉
👏👏👏 ❤
So articulate and intelligent, her house feels like an art exhibition but in a fun way. I love it.
Love the dining table. It turns an otherwise large dull surface into an art statement.
She has a voice for story telling. I could listen to her read an audible book. I love traditional decor and not a fan of lots of colors. But I stayed just to listen to her. 😊
She's such a good speaker.
I absolutely loved this video. Her home was very inspiring to me. I learned so much from her. Thank you for all the decorating tips you shared.
I’d like the kitchen 😊 and her dress is cute
Very creative and beautiful home. Love her dress; what a gorgeous colour.
My favorite room.the green shiny walls with the swivel round chairs.
Love the galley kitchen great practical use of space
Thank you for such an informative tour. This woman is talented, intelligent and can communicate her rationale well. Many fantastic ideas that we can all apply to our spaces.
She is sophisticated. I found her home tour informative. Her home decor is unique. Her pets are absolutely adorable, too. My favorite room was the garden room.
Garden Room is beautiful.
You are so elegant, refined, and well-spoken!
Love these home tours. Natalie is a wonderful speaker, she presented her home in such an easy listening yet professional way. My takeaway ideas are the sheer discreet view blinds & loose top curtains.
It does give me 1980 vibes. The best of the 80’s though. Very playful. Not my style, but it’s good to see different taste and styles.
Thank you so much for inviting us into your home and giving me such an appreciationfor how you've designed your home. I love the way you think, your appreciation of art, and the way you have such an elegant quirkiness.
Beautiful and cozy house. The hostess is very warm and genuine I like her creative solutions. Enjoyed this episode.
Fabulous session. The homeowner went above and beyond to explain in great detail all aspects of her home. Thank you so much!!!
Me gustó mucho este video, la Señora explica con agilidad sus ideas y me encantan la mezcla de esos suaves colores, la combinación de algunos muebles vintage y el arte moderno. FELICIDADES
First, let me say, I wish my voice sounded like hers and I wish I looked like that in the dress that she's wearing. She is almost too good to be real. I appreciate her explanation of her choices. The true mark of a wonderful designer. That being said, and not that anyone asked, I can't understand the choice to have the kitchen in that location. It is probably one of the least inviting spaces that I've ever seen. And the Burka art and the meat art just made me sad. On the other hand, the portraits of her children are absolutely amazing. So gorgeous.
I agree with you on every point here. Well said
Lovely home and host
The home layout is unique. She makes great use of color but I feel like she overwhelms the spaces with textures and patterns and clashing art selections and fixtures. Its bold and playful and I still appreciate it all.
I'm all for London 🎉😅!
This London townhouse is so beautiful and very imaginative and unique with its contents ! 🫡🎯🎯🎯🎯🧡
Too 80’s for me but she likes it, so that’s all that matters!
Very well done!
Exquisite ❤
I like her....and her house. I want to take a nap on the sofa in the front room.
I like the garden room
Fantastic house!🎉❤🌾
Thank you Homeworthy, llove🏡lovely lady , explanation of each and every room 😁, she killed me when she spoke about her small kitchen, referred to restaurants who serve hundreds of people from small kitchens 😍😍the best 👏
Such a beautiful home! 😍
Thank you for sharing your home. Love your colour palette and beautiful design. Those ferns are fantastic. From Alberta Canada
As we say in Deutsch!
NEIN DANKE!
JUST NO! Her voice is completely," robotic, just grating."
To each his own," obviously."
Another fabulous home. An interior decorating lesson. Lots to take away from this. Thank you.
Extremely inspiring! Thank you so much!
The entire layout feels weird. I’m not a fan of the corridor kitchen. I think it would be a pain to be cooking and have people, kids and animals walking behind. Also her voice is extremely stilted, kinda hard to listen to. At first I thought she was speaking down to the audience- doesn’t seem to be the case, she actually thinks in that manner, lol!
🤭
I love her use of space and particularly the galley kitchen
@@yvonnerolley9676 to each their own. I cook A LOT, I can’t even fathom being in there while folk are using it as a Hallway. Blech 🤢
She sounds like a college professor!
I thought the same thing. Like she’s giving us a class lecture. Not a bad thing.
She does. A very, very good professor. The kind you are sad when her course is over. I never had but a few of those, and oh, how I cherished them.
Beautiful Home! As a child I used to live near Bishops Park, it's a lovely park! I love your home office!
Love that she’s not intimidated by color. And, the dress she’s wearing is beautiful. Could someone please tell me what color it is?
I would say it is a fuschia colour.
Beautiful, the best, thank you
Lovely colour combination!
Very 80’s. For me it’s pastiche and I couldn’t live with it.
I like the idea of the light in the hallway entrance and her dress is classic and timeless.
… I don’t think I’ve seen a design I like less. It’s almost a visceral reaction for me personally. Sorreee…
Love it !!! ❤
I really don't like the kitchen, especially without windows. She really tried to sell her kitchen like we we're looking to buy😂
It was awful and awkward tbh 😂
It was horrible except for the ceiling molding
Mh, she is a very beautiful woman and a lovely mother and I instantly guessed that she was the one with the yellow skirt😊 But her style or the way she decorated her house seems strange to me. And although she is giving explanations about everything in a very fluent and kind way, I get exhausted listening to her. In the beginning of the video I really liked the entrance of the house but then I felt less and less admiration. Some rooms are very nice, I really love the kitchen, especially with that orange ceiling and the extraordinary light and I love her studio. I also love the lamps on the nightstands and I like the bathroom, especially with the lovely gifts from her mother. And the most I love the beautiful made portraits of her children😃. But I don't get the rest. She talks about the garden room as "cozy". I can feel nothing cozy there. And I also don't understand why the bedroom is calm? This wallpaper would drive me crazy. Mh. But everybody is different and she is happy with everything and that's what matters. So all the best to her and her family🍀😊
I am going to think about using her „nib“? walls to separate my initial entrance from my long corridor of my apartment.
Love it!!
Can you please bring the infinite lines rug in back stock? Its beautiful !! i would live to have one.
Beautiful lady in a wonderful decor !
It’s different indeed; and she seems pleasant .
I don't understand the love of bleu and red in a house accent maybe but walls?
I don't understand a dark painted room facing north in Britain that seems traditionally over cast.
I hate that product page that pops up on my tv how can I get rid of it
Kitchen ❤❤❤
She obviously put a lot of effort on the script and you can tell she’s practiced the presentation which i respect compared to those with lots of ums and erhs. Not really my taste but that doesn’t matter. I can take what i like. I wouldn’t want to be seen with that non committal leopard print seating. With a few moms perching, it reminds me of …
Thank God someone said it. She maybe was too perfect with her presentation, but like you said, I appreciate it better. One of the last videos of the former ballet dancer/decorator in his Atlanta condo in an old mansion, absolutely loved his home and decor, but he said „and“ & „um“ every 5 seconds. Was like nails on a chalkboard.
Sorry to say but this house looks over designed there is just way too much going on in each room but her dress looks fabulous
Agree!
Kitchen is totally out of style of the rest of the house .
Interesting, she refers to the 2 black chests of drawers in the first room as having been ‘ebonised’, they look like they’ve been painted to me…
Im definately not a fan of this one, But Obviously the only thing that matters is that she loves it😱🤔🤷🏻♀️👍🏼
It is a nice home considering how expensive is London. I do not like the wall colors at all. But she did.
To grab and hold someone's attention to educate us about your profession while showing us your home to translate why's and how design work your delivery I can't say anything but you gave this woman knows her sh....t
Burka art?? 🤮 nope. Oppressive, sad, depressing. Powerful??? Ugh. 😑
When she said there was something naive about them. 😳 Um, I think she may be the naive one.
Agree w you 💯!!! What’s powerful about women having to be covered up head to toe or they’d be stoned to death or shot in the head?? I’d NEVER have that pic in my house! Only power that depicts are the males who make them wear it!!
Found this home tour very slow and she talked too much , felt like she was narrating a short film
While I was watching, something kept niggling at my mind. I finally figured it out: She sounds like she's reading from a story book rather than talking to us! Just an observation, not a criticism and a smidge spooky, haha! Well she definitely cast a spell over me in her stunning gown and home! However, I could never decorate my home with paintings of women in burka's. The tiny glimpses of their eyes look so so sad.
She sounds robotic. And agreed- a big hell no to burka anything! So oppressive and dark depressing energy!!
@@thatgirlirish5492 She almost sounds like she's a Gen AI voiceover?
I admire her attitude, but with the exception of the front room, not my style. It’s all just a little too much for me
There’s no accounting for taste.
😂😂😂
😂😂😂
The viewers' taste is always right and the viewer must make sure to tell us what she doesn't like. She has no idea what does like; this certain viewer. No one cares what this certain viewer thinks but she still assumes we care. The poor dears. 😂🎉
@@gregpendrey6711you make a great deal of assumptions based on a single comment 😂
49:37.... Who in their right mind finds this hideous hanging attractive and necessary for their home..? The layout is strange, overall, and the "design" has no appeal whatsoever: just bad and weird. The owner looks nice, but has to give up the "designing" and ask a professional for help.
I’m waiting with every breath the exclusive Jacklyn Smith collection for Walmart, it belongs in this collection😂
🤣
Some nice individual pieces , I love the decoupage decoration on the walls . However It’s too decorated I don’t see the mix of colours and texture harmonising together very pretentious .
I was very sad with her discrimination of the woman in burkas…there is nothing sweet or magical about that
Yes, very disturbing.
Fantastic. The best episode so far.
The balls in the entrance r looking weird
