Thousand years from now, archeologists will be looking at your knives and still wonder how on earth such beautiful things could be made.
If archeologists are still around they probably still finna have youtube

Wasn't a huge fan of the screw Damascus but this pattern is wild! Like a combination of wood knots & fire. Very cool.
That pattern is gorgeous!
By far, this is one of the most fresh patterns i've seen in years, great job man. I also like the design of the blade itself, and how the pattern matches the blade work.
Absolutely GORGEOUS blade! Love that you can actually see the chain pattern in the steel so easily.
Beautiful work.
That knife is impeccible, great work
Looks awesome!
I love how you had the pattern well into the tang. Makes the handle flow to the blade. Well done.
Now that's a sweet design in a blade.
That pattern was pretty cool.
Of all of your pieces that I have seen, this one is my favorite :-)
I really love the way it turned out.
All your works are amazing
Great job man. It's a beauty. I love it. Congrats from Argentina.
U r the man also love watchin the welds go together in the press and the acid dips lol
Thanks for the advice. Keep the hard work.
This is beautiful man - FAR OUT!!!
One of the most beautiful blades I've ever seen ... you are truly an artist!
Came out better than i expected. Mother must be pleased
Wunderschöne Arbeit !!!
Very cool pattern. Awesome work. Can't wait for the next one.
Nice pattern almost looks like fire dancing.
Awesome
What an amazing piece of art
a beautiful pattern you've brought out in the blade! excellent!
One of the bost beautiful patterns i 've ever seen on damascus blades....simple but very beautiful
Nice patten, looks more organic, wood like.
It's a flaming pattern so beautiful
Absolutely fantastic!

That guy's got hands of Diamond doing most of the job without gloves
WOW! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!
I just entered the rabbit hole that is your channel. Thank you😊
That’s a beautiful knife
2:57 theres an ak47 here somewhere but I cant see it.
Wtf 😂😂😂
haha...
Lol
I don't get the joke
You wiped out the steel granules with your bare hands? Incredible!
That is gorgeous.
cool patern, I didn't know that chain composed of different alloy
Mysterious Stranger

Innovative! Looks great👍
Absolutely beautiful. What a pleasure to watch
Amazing pattern, i really like it. and I have two questions:
What liquid is this where you keep in the billet before put it in the forge? It's kerosene?
And that powder that looks like sand used for forge-welding, what is it?
Keep the good job, and thank you from Brazil!
The billet is soaked in kerosene. This is necessary for good welding (forging) steel. When burning inside the workpiece remains soot (carbon), which, with further heating, scales and rust inside the workpiece restores to the iron, improving the quality of forging welding.
I sprinkle flux (90% borax + 5% quartz sand + 5% charcoal powder) this is necessary for forging (forge) welding. The flux is alloyed with scale - the formed substance is sufficiently fluid and is easily displaced by deformation. In addition, the flux protects against oxygen and charcoal, carburizes the surface layer of metal - which lowers the welding temperature (if in brief).
shurap will vinegar work as well?
Great explanation, answered all my doubts!
Tanks again!

Hands down one of the most beautiful knives I've ever seen.
The blades that you make are one of the nicest looking blades i´ve ever seen! Keep up the good work!
Hello , I love your channel end work ! Greetings from Poland !
Greatings from who the hell cares!!!
Dude the first thing I said when I saw that was “wow that’s f’in dope”
Excellent craftsmanship! Beautiful blades.
Amazing pattern...you truly are a master
Just looking at the thumb nail I can only see the opportunity for cold shuts and extremely more so then a regular damascus
Exactly
Beautiful work!
Wow the etching really came out beautifully!
Cutelaria do Brasil agradece a sua aula. Muito Lindo
Do you sell your knifes ? I would love to have the one made from engine chain , your very good
Yes! Great job. It looks really great 👍😎☺️
Looks gorgeous
love how that one machine sounds like a machine gun! hahaha
I hawe same machine )))
Dmitry I guess since I can't buy one from you I need to make one.. Nostrovia, Martin
M&S BLADES - I tried to inquire about purchase a few times before. He doesn't sell his work? I love watching him make this stuff and there's been a few I've wanted to purchase myself. He should let us fight over some of them on ebay or something. :)
Geoff Carr,,, Its not that he doesn't sell the blades the Ukrainian Gov. wont let him sell them outside his country for some reason . This is what he told me anyway. he does make some great patterns right. Martin
M&S BLADES - I was thinking that might have something to do with it. Something about a smuggled out of the country knife makes it even more appealing. Lol.
Well that's fine. As long as he knows we all want em.... That's all that matters. :)

You are AMAZING, Mr. Spencer!
That is a beautiful blade..thumbs up..

Who needs gloves
orng indo ga alay
@@watermelon_gamingchannel7290 gloves are gay
When blacksmithing and bladesmithing most choose to not wear gloves because they cause many issues... First, they affect your grip causing you to exert more pressure than necessary which can lead to premature cramping in the arms/hands. Second, any machinist can tell you (if not from personal experience, they have seen it happen...) that you do not wear gloves around rotating equipment, period, end of argument. Just search for "Degloving Injuries." Third and perhaps most importantly for smithing.... There is a lot of scale and slag formed whilst smithing (got loads of burns all over my hands and arms) if you are wearing gloves and a piece of scale gets inside your glove then you have something that is usually around 800-900 degrees F resting on your skin, trapped, in such a way that it can't escape your skin, because .... gloves....
Gloves or no gloves is your choice just understand that wearing them whilst grinding, forging, and machining is actually an increase to the likelihood of you being injured.
