“The Invisible Man” was written by drummer Roger Taylor but credited to Queen.
Roger claims that he got the inspiration to create the song while reading a book and the bassline instantly came to his head. No, it was not written for a movie.
This song marks the only time in any of Queen’s songs that all four band members' names are mentioned in the lyrics.

John Decon really shines on this song and I love it ❤❤❤❤I'm jealous of the boy that gets a private concert from Queen 👑 😅

I love this song & I want Freddie’s green glasses!! 🕶️ Good ol’ Roger wrote this song after reading the H.G. Wells’ The Invisible Man book! Oh and to all you Queenies .. Have you noticed in the music video, *I’M GOING SLIGHTLY MAD*, that Roger’s bandages are unraveled just like in 1933 The Invisible Man film? 🎥 Interesting!

It is a very upbeat, lighthearted song written by Roger. Like Marlaina said, imagine being the kid and having your own private Queen concert. Not a soundtrack but they did do a couple of those. Need to check out A Kind of Magic live at Wembley 1986.

This is such a fun video, I always enjoy watching it. The band is trapped inside the boy's video game, kind of like the movie Tron. The band members can become invisible much like you would see in a video game you would play, but they sort of break out of the video and are in his room. He wouldn't have really believed any of it but John gave him his cowboy hat.

BUT, now, think about the lyrics @Pluto_Please , please? Deep meaning in this song, as with almost *every* Queen composition. Loving your reactions and 'The Invisible Man' video is so much fun! 🙂

Listen out to hear each band member's name being called out as the song plays.

The video is self-explanatory: it's about video games.
Another great music video is The Miracle.
