- The Crop or Not Cardi is worked in one piece with herringbone double crochet stitches worked throughout. The cardi is completed by seaming the sleeves and sides then finished with buttonholes and edging. The stitch pattern creates a beautiful stitch pattern. Cardigan may be lengthened with pockets. The pattern works up quickly in bulky weight yarn. This soft and cozy design is made in Knit Picks/WeCrochet Biggo with Brava Bulky as an affordable alternative.
The Crop or Not Cardigan pattern includes sizing XS-5X.

To all of you who say why not just do a foundation double crochet instead of adding on with a new ball... i have done it and take my word!!!! A foundation dc is more stretchy than a regular starting chain. It looked horrible shortly after i was done. Do the chain! It makes it less stretchy so the sweater wears more easily. Hope that helps! Just trying to save you some headaches. But please let me know if you have had success the other way. Always love to learn.
OMG!! Because I am so used to FDC, I was going to ask this same question! Sooo glad I READ before I just ask. I know myself and would have absolutely tried it. THE YARN COSMOS HAVE LED ME TO YOUR ANSWER. TY TY TY
@@marshanotmarcia7433 ya I made one for my mom and my sister. And I used the fdc on my moms to try and save time and not have to sew in more ends and it hangs like 2 inches longer on that side! She says she does not mind it but it is so obvious! Lesson learned! Lol. Happy to help! Definitely make this pattern though! It is so beautiful and my sister gets compliments every time she wears it!

@@lifeofchasingdreams It is an awesome pattern and it is very neat how you can cut it apart.
I love your one piece patterns because I absolutely hate sewing pieces together. I love this cardigan and I have made your one piece duster, which is an AMAZING tutorial, as well! Thank you! ❤️

Amazing! Almost finished my first cropped cardigan ,the video was very useful. Thanks 😊
I purchased your pattern and am loving making this. The pattern is great and has diagrams and explains the process well. In just an hour or so Im done with the back and starting the sleeves. It works up pretty quickly once you get used to the Harringbone DC. Im making it for my Sister in law while shes here visiting so hopefully I can finish before she leaves in a few days.
Just finished mine and love it. Thankyou for the time and effort you have put in, and thanks for sharing

I did try to use the website but there were so many pop-ups that I just closed it. So thankful that you have made this pattern available here because when I saw the picture I knew this was the one I had to make. Looking forward to following along with you here and hooking this sweater for my Granddaughter. Thank you!

Super cute!!
I’ve just begun this pattern using Baby Bee Sweet Delight Chunky yarn (flannel marled color). The pattern is very easy to follow and works up so quickly. This yarn is beautiful, fits the gauge perfectly, and I just want to snuggle with it. I’ll be sad to gift this sweater to my daughter! Great work and thanks for the visual.
I finished mine and it looks awesome 👌 so easy follow and easy pattern 😉 😊 😀
So pretty! Thank you!
I'm almost done with my cardigan and its been so fun and rewarding to make! Its turned out just beautiful thank you so much!
You are so welcome!
Great tutorial very nice cardigan 😊 i did it in black it turned out gorgeous thank you soo much
This will be the next sweater I make. 2 crochet v neck pull overs, 1 crochet cardigan / pockets & 1 knitted cardigan with pockets. I really like the way you go into such detail when explaining the stitch counts and why. Your voice is very relaxing. Superb!!!! I believe I will leave the scalloped edges tho as I like the looks of it as opposed to the sc finished edge down the front. :)
I love the not having seams. looks so much better than having to join pieces together, it's why I love crochet over knitting, so much easier to do, and your tutorials are awesome.
Love this sweater ! Thank you. Since I am long waisted, I’ll need to measure before doing sleeves thinking I might need just a little longer fit.
Beautiful. Great tutorial. Thank you 😊
Looove this! Thank you so much. I bought the pattern and followed along with the video. This is my absolute favorite thing I have ever crocheted! 🥰

Your are able to take someone along on each step so calm and clear, that I am not afraid of taking on projects I did not try before. I love the long version of the cardigan and I would love to purchase the Brava Balky Yarn. Do you know if I can do so? I live in Black Forest, Germany.
Todos tus diseños son preciosos.
Una seguidora española ❤
Simplemente hermoso🤩
Thank you
Parfact fantastic
VERY CUTE
Thanks 💕.
This is so... gorgeous - the most beautiful pattern I have seen yet. I already started mine yesterday when I came across your video and bought the pattern. Thank you so... much for sharing. I am having a difficulty as I am trying to start the left front panel. I double crocheted in the first chain and then did the first stitch but it does not follow the previous row's half circle. Please help. Thank you so... much.
Maravilhoso! Parabéns, que Deus te abençoe por compartilhar suas criações!
Beautiful ❤ how many hanks do I need for medium size?thank you.
Muchas graacias desde viña del mar
im curious how you would make this longer than the cropped version but shorter than the long version. i love the look of the sweater but i like mine to be a bit longer than cropped.
Every time I get stuck the video has the answer, thanks
Hola gracias por explicasion traducida en español precioso trabajo miles de gracias 🙏
Hi!! I love this cardigan and i am planning on doing it very soon!! Can I ask you what size is the white yarn in the video?? Thank you!!
Just making mine 🤞it fits…..❤
Nice 👌👌
Omg I am so glad that I found this video… I am definitly gonna make this and I couldn’t find the right pattern that I wanted until I found this so thank you so much for Sharing this. But how much does this cardigan actually weight when its finished ?
Would love to try this cardigan. Would I be able to substitute for an Aran weight yarn?
I’m working on this now with hygge yarn and am wanting to make the longer version. I have already used a 6.5mm for the band. Should I just stretch it out or go back and use a larger hook?
Question: for the sleeve band does anyone know if you start that on the right side or the wrong side?
Omg I just made my first sweater ever! But it was in 4 pieces. I'm going to try this next
Love the relaxed way you teach..
Wondering what other stitch would work with this pattern? Thank you in advance.
Half double or extended single crochet
Sorry, thinking...may the bottom part of the cardigan be crocheted to the pattern above for the skirt of a dress???
It is a gorgeous cardigan, I love it! ❤️
I just finished it, and it looks so beautiful. I would like to ask you, What method of blocking you use?
Your cardigan looks wonderful.
Thanks 😊
My first time doing this stitch
Very very pretty thank you plesse for size xs and small size handel hook and how many chain start 💖💖💖💖💖😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
Hola, sabéis si esta el patrón con los puntos exactos, no logro entenderlo todo, sobretodo la parte de delante...gracias, me encanta el cardigan 😁
How many inches long should the band be please? Thank you
I am making a small size but added extra stitches for the arms. I am so confused around the 26 min mark with the stitch count once I'm to start on the front ( after the v neck increases)
