The cable part is VERY difficult to follow. I did the first 2 rows, but after that, I was completely lost, because I couldn't understand how to find the back double post on the 2nd row. I gave up. Beautiful sweater, though.
*UPDATE: I decided to give the cable stitch another try, because I love how it looks. I practiced it for 2 days and have now MASTERED IT! I thank you for this beautiful pattern!

I picked out Pound of Love in Charcoal for my sweater, and it suggests using a J hook. Should I use the J hook the yarn requires, or use the G that the pattern requires? I know that going down hook size(s) will make the fabric much tighter but I don't know how severely it will affect the size of this particular cardigan.
Urgh it says to do a swatch. I never do swatches. Guess I'll wing it

This is a GORGEOUS pattern MJ but I have a question. Could you tell me what size of the pattern would be better to make if I’m using worsted weight yarn? I like my clothing a little looser and was thinking of making the 2X. But then I remembered I have a different size yarn than what your pattern calls for. I plan on also using a smaller hook than what the yarn requires. Thank you for this beautiful pattern. 😊

I fully submerge the garment in lukewarm water with a bit of wool wash or baby soap and let soak for 15 minutes. Then I gently squeeze out the water and roll in a towel to remove any access water. Lastly pin to schematic measurements and let fully dry😊
