1. Focus on learning new skills, not always happiness
2. No shortcuts in life, hard work is required (you learn to walk before you run or you're going to fall while trying to learn, not knowing how to walk)
3. There will always be problems along the road, keep persevering and stay consistent
4. Sunk-Cost Fallacy: If we put in time and money into something, we won't want to give up or waste it
- You'll always learn from the investment you've put into something but that doesn't mean that you can't leave it because you haven't wasted it. You've learned a lot from that experience/job/relationship but it might sometimes be better to move on from knowing you've learned a lot of important skills from it

Great video David, just wanted to say my piece in the first advice though: it seems to me that you've exchanged the concept of happiness with pleasure, the activities you mentioned are surely pleasurable but from my experience happiness and pleasure are different things, in fact the most happiness can be achieved with very little effort, like having a roof, being able to eat food for sustenance, and yes also spending time with friends and loved ones, but never in excess :) balance is key in my opinion, I may be wrong but I'd like to interpret your tip in this light :)
yes, I was thinking about that. Why is anything worth doing, if it doesn't make you happy? Even the whole 'being useful' concept has to give you some sort of satisfaction... and that satisfaction, joy with your actions will automatically bring happiness back to you. Life involves suffering, but it is not ONLY suffering.
All these kids in their teens and twenties are correcting they problem they have by overcorrecting and crashing on the complete opposite direction.

Lie number 4 was an exact copy of my life. I had a relationship for 5 years and we had the same struggle as your example in the vid. I want to have kids one day and she doesn't.. That was the main reason we broke up back in Jan 2024 and to be honest, I am still struggling. I hope that I made the right decision. It's also difficult after so many years together to just simply walk away. It gets better day by day but the feelings are still there.

2. Ozempic Lie (you need focus on hard work mindset for long-term goals to achieve assets of what searching for fast decisions)
3. Everything is Fucked (be preparing to accept problems or failure, if you'll search alternative ways of accomplish your goals, thats completely boosted to next level of your life)
4. Sunk-Cost Fallacy (concetrate on that things what you're learned and don't mention on how much is cost. But don't stuck in things that you spend a lot of assets, cuz that isn't yours)

Just remember success and grinding and doing fulfilling shit like building your body or business will not improve your mental health. Mental health is not affected by any of that stuff. I’m more successful than I’ve ever been and I’m still just as miserable. Stopped all my addictions, including porn and fapping, except caffeine and social media like this. Have nothing to look forward to now except the grind and that can be really rough sometimes.
