I'm currently dating this girl I met at my last job back in 2017/2018 and we became friends because a youtuber we both liked and the friendship has been strong ever since. Even though she got into a relationship shortly after with another coworker at the time we still talked as friends. That relationship ended 3 years ago about. Me and this girl ran into each other at the gas station called buccees and then later in walmart and she asked me out. Since then we've been texting almost every day and have been on one date. I am patiently waiting for a second date, if it doesn't happen I'll have to move on and cut my losses. I have suggested a second date twice and she has made an excuse twice now since she works 6 days a week and I work 5. Also she recently moved into her first apartment by herself and her little dog. She sent me pictures and paragraphs telling me all about it and I told her that's really cool I definitely have to check it out soon. That was almost 2 weeks ago and she hasn't asked me to hang out yet. I'm thinking 1, she lost interest, 2 she's genuinely busy and wants to focus on getting into her career and out of her job she currently has and does not like, or 3 she is overwhelmed and scared to commit to a new guy since the last relationship she got cheated on and didn't find out for weeks and they lived together and she kicked him out and took his car.

Thanks Bro very meaningful video. You nailed it about the 3 areas(for men SMV) are body, career, social. I would honestly rate myself a 8-9/10 on the first two but honestly probably a 1-2/10 on the last one. I'm in great shape, have a great job(6 figure income + close to half a million dollar in the bank/investment). YET I have 0 dating options because no women knows me or wants to give me a chance. I don't have a social circle. I'm also ethnic so naturally, I loose by default against all the other guys on dating apps.
On dating apps, I even hired a professional dating photographer and it made 0 difference. Or at least very little.

Unfortunately I ignored the red flags of an emotionally dependent girl- even in the marriage I ignored them. She was raised to disrespect men, and that became more apparent the more I got to observe the dynamic between her parents. It's been almost a full year of being legally divorced from that toxicity, and I feel more of the man I'm meant to be.

I think the issue with boundaries is men have never NEVER thought of their boundaries. Pondering isn't very actionable, and men aren't into it, especially with your emotions and preferences. Women love thinking and pondering on who they are (even if it isn't real). Another issue here is men aren't great at self reflecting on their feelings. So if someone steps on you emotionally, men think to "man up" which they think is to stay cool, don't care. But really it's to stay composed and in touch with your thoughts and feelings and communicating it in a strong, direct, and uncompromising way, while showing empathy.

If your answer is that it no longer makes sense to be with her, that means that you are not choosing a person because of how they are, but rather you are choosing a biological tool that sooner or later you will forget about.
My suggestion, you should not consider having a family if you are not first able to establish a more solid relationship with a life partner, personal areas that have nothing to do with gender ideals.
