- Who would have thought we would be returning to the annual spring show in Corvallis, Oregon in 2021!
It was so good to get out again and visit with friends at the Benton County fairgrounds for the swap meet & show.
They weren't perhaps as many bikes there this year, but was more than made up for by the number of swap meet stands and the size of the crowd that attended. It was so therapeutic to meet friends again that we haven't seen for over a year.
The featured marque this year was Italian motorcycles. It was to be the theme for 2020, but since the event was canceled last year, and carried forward to this year.
Thank you very much to the OVM team who organized a really enjoyable day
Special thanks to my friend @SwooshDave for his air footage!

Good morning Mike! A speachless video for a speachless event! Tank you and have a nice week!
Thank you Mike for Sharing that with us, some amazing motorcycle there, shame it rained. Cheers Martin 🇬🇧👍
Gotta love those butch big Z900s. I recently help a guy fix up his Z1000. We went for a ride and I goaded him into a display of its power. It was very impressive.
Great video Mike. What a great assembly of eclectic machines.
What a Show! I have never seen so many two-wheeled jewels in one place. I love the grey Guzzi Falcone in the middle of the video. Looks like a Vincent Grey Flash modified to run on pasta with tomato sauce...
Thanks for this Mike… I really appreciate your slow & steady stroll around, with just enough time to study each bike. Cheers.
Thanks very much Nigel. I’m glad you enjoyed this video. The annual show and swap meet in Corvallis Oregon is one of my favorite events of the year. The Italian year was a good one. Best wishes, Mike.
Thanks Mike. I found listening to the conversations in the background almost as interesting as the wide variety of bikes on display.
hi mike nice to see amarican auto jumble some very nice bikes on display at first thought we were back in uk british bikes ducati with brit plate and rain, thanks mike nice to see things aren`t so diffrent half way around the world regards
Du beau matos ! as we say here ! Thank you for your work and sharing !
Thanks Mike!
Thanks Mike! Ansome
Thanks Mike ! Ray🇬🇧
Loving that Laverda !
Nice video, really enjoy seeing all the bikes, especially the old Harleys...... the DT250 at 11:30 and Bonneville at 12:15 are sitting in my basement.....
got a big grin on my face thanks Mike 😜👍
Hehe, thought you might like that one 😉 I literally ran over to catch the guys fire up those bikes at the end! What a thrill!
could watch this all day. its raining cats n dogs here. stay safe yall much respect all riders
Lovely, thanks for posting this.
The 900 Desmo SS !! What a machine !! I've watched several of your videos now and there is one unit I have not seen- a T120TT Special. I had one when I was young and dumb- dumb cause I got rid of it !! Surprisingly steady camera work for someone that has ridden a Brit Bike to the event .I JOKE, I'm a Norton Fan
Thanks a lot 😉
Yes, I'm hoping to do a video on a TT special in the new year. They are really cool. Best wishes, Mike
Thanks for sharing. Maybe next year.
delightful .
Great video with plenty of wonderful bikes. My top 3, the Orange Laverda 750 twin, Silver Ducati 900SS and the British registered 900SS at the end also for furthest travelled at show.
Great choice! Yes, I was surprised to see the X-Reg British number plate on that green 900SS!
Nice Ariel square four!!!
So many lovely bikes and nice to see so many old Indians, also there can’t be too many Rudge-Whitworths out there? My favourites, the Squarial at 2.07, the Green Lightning at 5.12 and the Toaster 75/5 at 12.23 🇬🇧🏍
Thanks Stewy, I understand that the Rudge-Whitworth won best British at the show! The green Lightning was a local school project I believe, which is terrific. Cheers, Mike
Just wonderful that things like this are happening again!
Lot's of cool stuff there. 👌
Looks like a fun show, tgx Mike.
That CX500 engined trail bike was kinda neat.
TOP !!!!
I like the blue Harley single. A pretty bike. Thanks for sharing the meeting with us Mike.
My favorite here was the 1953 Ariel Square Four.
I'd like to see more vintage Sears Alstate bikes (made by Puch of Austria) particularly the 50cc Sears Moped and the 250 "Twingle".
Interesting video thanks 👍
Thank you for covering this event, Mike! Nice use of your drone as well. Some great machines, for sure. That Ducati 900 Super Sport... oh my! 👍😀🏍
You’ve done it again! Very satisfying. This is what I need to get going, and taking a ride on one of my vintage machines of course.
Thank you very much Leon! Glad you enjoyed the video. It was a terrific day. Wish it could have lasted longer. Best wishes, Mike
Thanks Mike, Can't wait to go to a show myself, great. (Stafford Show in July)
Hi Kevin, that’s fantastic. I hope it’s going ahead. I always loved going to Stafford. It was really one of the highlights of the year. Best wishes, Mike
Some very interesting machines there! Can't say that I am enamoured with some of the modifications, but to each his [or her] own.
What an event literally from the sublime to the ridiculous. Hopefully it wont be long now before we can do this in the UK Thanks for the vid and keep on riding
What a lovely surprise, sunday 'swap meet' nice one Mike.
Lots of interesting metal on show a real good turn out of so many great names.
Thanks for sharing. atvb t ..
Mike thanks so much for posting! Great variety of quality vintage motorcycles. I recognized most, but the 'Poppin Poppers' single under the American group had me stumped what it was?
Hi George, I believe it is a 1929 Harley Davidson model "B", 250. Hope all is well. Cheers, Mike
Thanks for making this video! It’s a real nice way to relive the show.
Thanks Steve!
Thanks for this. We are still in a state where restrictions don't allow show and shines or meets. I miss them greatly!
Hi Mike, thanks for bringing us those beautiful bikes, there were definitely some stunning rides, you should have shown the bikes that were for sale and their prices, that’s what i really like, and the black and chrome Honda, was it a 305 or something like that, I’ve got a soft spot for them, yummy 😋. Great video man. 😎👍👍👍🇬🇧
Yeah, I'm often tempted to show the prices, but they always seem to be right next to a telephone number and I am sensitive not to show their phone numbers especially if the video get to be a few years old! Cheers, Mike
Great start to my Sunday, what an amazing show, did you buy anything 🤔😀
There’s that Laverda again 👍
Enjoy your week Mike ☕️
Thank you David! You too! I didn't buy anything unfortunately and have had non-buyers regret since! I really liked that BSA A10!
What was the Honda twin @7:50? Got it in the comments -GB500. very cool, great video, thanks for switching us on!!
Brilliant! Thanks for this!
Tempted to open the wallet Mike 🤔 lol. Some nice machines on show 👏
Hehe, I really was. There was a special air of excitement that day as it's been the first show in so long!
A superb turn-out , some surprising machines, even the perfect-woman (7:43, couldn't resist ! ) Dave NZ
🤣🤣. I was just thinking, "wait, did I miss the one woman who goes to these events?"🤣
Thanks for sharing this show. Hoping to catch Walneck's motorcycle swap meet June 6th here in Ohio. What was that at 7:49?
It's a Honda GB500. Honda's interpretation of a classic Bike from around 1989/1990. Cheers, Mike
Gorgeous weather here today at last almost as good you’ve been having over there Mike so it’s off out on a run around Wales with friends.
Unfortunately we don’t have bike shows like this one yet.
Some great interesting bikes on this one Mike thanks 👍
Wonderful, great to hear Nige! Hope you had a good ride.
Well done again Mike, always look forward to your adventures and bike specials, I wonder if that Ducati 900ss green frame was the real deal? I know they are a well sort after model but prohibitively expensive [here in Aust at least].
P.S. And didn't it sound nice oh-yeah.
Wow what a treat !! beautiful machines but hey the audio is amazing !! I don't know what you used but the quality is superb 👌
Many thanks! I was really pleased with the audio. It's just my iPhone can you believe it! Best wishes, Mike
That Ducati 250 is a nice bike. Probably not stock? But I really like it.
Hi Mike… I’ve been enjoying your channel for a long time, and have learned a lot. Do you know of a “best fix” for a cracked gas tank forward attach point? I have a Norton Commando MkIII that I can’t seem to fix. Thanks for the great content! Mike
