- oNe (Oregon Norton Enthusiasts) - February 2024 Club Meet
Hi guys, I hope you will enjoy this video from the June 2024 Oregon Norton Enthusiasts club meeting.
It was a very good turnout at the Horse Brass Pub for lunch with 11 Nortons outside.

Hey, Mike, nice video again… good to see you all on the road! Ride safely and greetings from northern Germany Manfred
An excellent video thanks Mike. It always gives me such a buzz to see and hear the commandos. They are such an iconic motorcycle.
Thanks for sharing.
Enjoyed the video, mate. There's some quality machinery there, hey!
Great episode today. I'm always impressed at how one can both hear these great old bikes but also hear your narration as clear as a bell.
It's always a pleasure to watch your video while riding, Mike.
Great video, great turn out, great bikes. Thanks for showing the "S" Norton, as yet unmolested but what a joy to ride! The wire and wood block give away my riff raff nature I suppose and likely do not qualify as a correct mod. What fun!
I great turn out indeed .. 👍Bikes sound sweet & I liked the look of the 'Sports BMW' .. 😎
Thanks as always for sharing Mike, good to have some sunshine back atvb t .. 😉.. 🏍
Thanks a lot Terry, I hope all is well and you are having a good spring. Best wishes
Man I keep forgetting about the ONE!!! I gotta stop by sometime soon!!! 🇬🇧🤙🍻
Hi Pod, I would be happy to add you to our email list if you would like to send me an email at TheMightyGarage@icloud.com. We don't send a lot of emails, just notices about upcoming event's, etc. Cheers, Mike
Nice Video!! Thanks for last week OVM show. But you didn’t show the great guys selling t shirts!!
First time I’ve seen a BMW R nineT Racer on one of your videos, which is what I ride ! 🇬🇧
Yes, that's the first time I have seen it. It's a stunning looking bike. I really like them and was very tempted when I got my Thruxton. Cheers, Mike
A bit of 'Norton-Heaven' right there Mike , superb machines I'm very-tempted to sell all my bikes and buy one . Ironically , mint 750-Atlas's are worth less down here than a tidy Commando . Perhaps you could organise that Norton-framed BSA to visit The Cul de sac ... Dave nz
Good turn out
Some tasty looking Commando’s there, I’ll have one of those and the beautiful Atlas please.
Good choice Nigel! Sam's Atlas is still one of the best looking bikes! Hope all is well. Cheers, Mike PS: I still owe you an email reply!!
Nice ride....cup of java and chats.
It's not Sunday until I've watched, The mighty garage
its always gr8 to hear petrol beening turned in2 music😄😄
Thanks Adrian, I took some nice clips of the bikes starting and the darn microphone must have pulled out of the camera. It was dead silent and so disappointing, so I added a little soundtrack of the ride home instead. Cheers
Mike hermoso video saludos Rafa de mardel plata Argentina
That Atlas is cherry.
You have a nice couch on the Commando now!😂😂😂
Hee hee, it was very comfy 😀😀🛋️
Not many Interstates with the original silencers.
Harley Davidson was the featured marque. My 59 Sportster was in a three way tie for first in the Harley Division. Tie goes to the older bike and the other two were older than mine so I got the third place trophy. Great fun.
Thanks Steve. This year's OVM show was great, wasn't it. Below is a link to my video of the event. Is that your bike at 9:59? If you can send me the timestamp, I can include it in the description. Oh, and you would be most welcome to visit the cul-de-sac to chat about your bike. That would be a terrific visit. Cheers, Mike

@@TheMightyGarage hi Mike, my Sportster is red with birch white trim on the tank. It is shown from the rear at 9:17 Thank you for your work documenting the shows. They are so fleeting in real time. I’d love to pay a visit.
Did you have to do any mods on your Norton to get such a light clutch? I was admiring a friends Commando today and I noticed it had a really stiff clutch lever. I don't have a ton of experience with Nortons so I wasn't sure if that was normal. My T140 Triumph had a stiff clutch until I put a 7 plate clutch kit into it.
What did you do to make the clutch easy to pull ?
How’d you pass the MOT with no rear right signal?
There’s no such thing as the annual UK MOT (Ministry of Transportation) safety / roadworthiness test in Oregon, USA 😀. It’s also just temporary and I should have it fixed soon.
So you should be embarrassed....by a policeman, l suppose you could say it must've fell off en route.
😆 that's just what I was planning to say if stopped. It is an old British motorcycle, after all 😆
