I’m an old man and I’ve seen almost every big man (sorry Bob Petit and George Mikan…) and the one Jokic reminds me of is Bill Russell. Russ said at least 80% of his rebounds were grabbed below the basket, so jumping wasn’t really important - it was positioning and footwork that mattered. Add in an iron will (again like Bill) and you’ve got Jokic.
What is NOT mentioned regarding this guy is the obvious aspect of the referees who are BLIND, DEAF and DUMB to this guy's continuous holding, pushing, shoving, using his hands, forearms, and torso to get "position" beneath the basket due his lack foot speed and agility. The "palming" of the basketball when he engages in "dribbling" when it is actually walking, is continually ignored. To compare him Olajawon IS ABSURD! ANY COMPARISON TO THE REAL G.O.A.T one WILT CHAMBERLAIN IS TOTALLY, ludicrous and ASININITY of the worse sort.
