- Dauphin Island is a small island off the coast of Alabama in the Gulf of Mexico. It’s a great island to just get away and enjoy some beach time. No matter where you are on the island you can see the bay on one side and the ocean on the other. Dauphin Island is great for everyone. We enjoyed some beach bum time as well as all the ways to fish. We fished off the beach. We went to the pier. We also went out boat fishing in the bay. We enjoyed catching some redfish and sea trout. If you’re more of a history buff Fort Morgan is also located on Dauphin Island. It is on the list of endangered historic sites. Dauphin Island is a relaxing getaway for all. Glad that I found this video before taking a trip there , because the Google pics make it look like a Florida beach and this definitely doesn’t .
Yes definitely not a Florida beach. But it's not as packed as Florida beaches. And there is beautiful areas all around
I live about 20 minutes from this gorgeous place and the sunsets are amazing. When I was a kid I would look across the water and the lights of the oil rigs after dark would twinkle on the horizon like floating cities in the distance. Very nostalgic place for me.

We’ve rented a beach house in Dauphin Island for several years for our all-family vacation (18 people adults and kids). It is THE PERFECT BEACH VACATION! We have not found anything comparable!!!! The parents can see kids on the beach from the deck of the house! Lots of room and a great beach 🏝️!! Everyone loves it!!
We've been a few times with a group of friends and we've always had a great time! Just a nice quiet time on the island.

Yeah that place was pretty cool first time we ever went. Went down there with the group of friends so we had a really good time hanging out down there for a week. That Civil War Fort was guarding the bay of Mobile Alabama. Wish we could have went in but everything was shut down. And the fish was delicious! Thanks for watching!

I’ve been looking at different properties along the coast and decided to see how this area was by searching on CZcams, I’m watching your video and I was like is that Taylor and Seth?? Haha I work with both of them so it’s pretty crazy to come across this as a random video.

This my first drone as well! I'm really enjoying it I think it handles really well just got to watch out for strong wind conditions because it's so light. Look really good when you slept some color grading on it. Thank you we really appreciate that!

The video coming out next week we were in the Great Smoky Mountains doing the chimney tops hike and I about lost my drone only had 1% left when I caught it lol I remembered at the last minute if high winds ever try to take it away pop it into sports mode and make it a nosedive and fly it really fast back to you and get it low to the ground as possible. Thank God I watched some pro tips on how to fly it or I would have lost it.
Bloody hell I wouldn't of known to do that so I'd of been on proper panic mode!! 😅 I'll have to have a practise with it, learn all those little tricks..
Yeah I was panicking for sure lol I would get at least 10 to 12 hours of flight time in an easy setting first.
Braver than me grabbing that sail cat. I got finned once and my whole hand swole up and turned black. Felt like it was rotting off. Never again.
Yeah my buddy who grabbed it had that happened to him too he said he wanted to go to the hospital it hurt so bad.
Great Drone footage, what app are you using for airspace authorization? I've been using Kitty Hawk seems to work ok, ....
Thanks I appreciate it! With the mavic mini there's a built-in map that shows you where you can and can't fly. Dji fly app
Snooch tv yep, I have a Mavic Mini as well, hadn’t had a chance to get very good at it, but when I fly in controlled airspace I use Kittyhawk to get authorization, that way you’re not limited to flying in uncontrolled airspace only...

I had that same question when we went. I'm not sure that was our first time down there I will say there were some storms all week the week before we got there so that might have been the problem.

Unfortunately very susceptible to hurricanes, as with recent hurricane sally.
Yeah, it can get pretty bad down there that's why I would never live on the coast.
That was a hot bed for catching fish there. That was catfish right? You guys are good to eat for awhile. I love my Blackstine Griddle also.
Yeah those were a bunch of sail cat we were catching right off the beach we didn't keep any of those. We kept all the red drum and sea trout though. Yeah I was trying to figure out some cool ways to use the Drone I figured that would be pretty cool. I've always really enjoyed metal detecting it's pretty fun especially when you find really old coins in the dirt or go to Civil War sites. Thanks for watching!

It was a rental. This video was made like 3 years ago and my buddy was the one who rented the house. I know there's plenty of rental houses still down there on verbo and Airbnb that's where he found it.

I always thought all the gulf water was clear like florida's panhandle but that's pretty dark. Maybe because it's not on the mainland, I don't no..

I didn't think metal detecting was allowed anywhere on the island?
If it's not I had no idea. I'm not from Alabama I just thought it would be fun to bring my metal detector along. Don't really ever do it much probably brought it out 5 times in the last four or five years.
I definitely liked the 2nd half of the video where you weren’t fishing where people do beach things; e.g. football, sun bathing, walking, running

The water is a bit murky and does not have that nice sky-blue color as Pensacola or Destin

@@NickandRachel cant give up my man. Granted the only time Dauphin island has any surface waves is when a storm is coming. Otherwise its about flat as a glass window. But if you really want to learn to surf amd ride the waves, Chase it amd dont let go of that dream. You local to Dauphin Island?
No I'm not I live in Middle Georgia. So it's a good 8 hour drive for me to get somewhere with decent waves
Nasty beach, did not like anything about that island.
