If by bad mental health she means depression, which I have, then itâs more of a societal issue. Thatâs the utter spiritual bankruptcy of capitalism. Human connections and experiences are so limited, all the emphasis is on buying things as temporary relief.

You Say It First is awesome. If you like YA contemporary romance then itâs a must read! I read it in less than a day, I could NOT put it down when I had to go to work. Itâs swoony, heartfelt, and I just love the two main characters so much.
I love how whenever I feel unsure about how many books I want to buy at once all i have to do is type âbook haulâ in CZcams and I no longer feel alone in my lack of self control â€ïž

OMG I read Buried Beneath the Baobab Tree! It is such an important read and packs a punch. It is emotional but the chapters are very short so you will go through it really quickly. Such a great read! Definitely recommend it!
Also Paris is Always a Good Idea sounds so cute! I know the author from her cozy mystery series, Sprinkle with Murder and it has great cupcake recipes in the back!

You mentioned a book by Sarah Mylnowski, and I LOVE the âmagic in Manhattanâ series by her! Itâs magical realism and itâs definitley YA, but I love it! Itâs a quick easy read and the characters are so FUN!
