Rebecca is such a good book, I read it back in June and it's amazing, the writing, the story, the characters, I just loved it! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did 😊
a recent read for me: How we disappeared by Jing-Jing Lee. It's historical fiction set in Singapore. Our protagonist is taken by Japenese soldiers during the japanese invasion and made to become a "comfort woman". It is a difficult read due to the dark content, but really stuck with me and is a part of history that I didn't know a lot about
Bemuzed Bookworm one of the best books I’ve read recently, knew nothing about that part of history and it was so interesting

I just finished "when you were everything " (got inspired by you again) at first it was quiet hard to get into it cause the whole friendship break-up just hurt so much but I really enjoyed it and as the story goes on it gets more interesting!
I just started reading Spin the dawn, I’m enjoying it so far! Also read Crescent City two months ago and loved it!

So many great options! I added a bunch to my own tbr 🙈! I read The How& The Why in July and I absolutely loved it! It was such a great read that tackled tough topics in a way that made me feel connected even though I did not go through the experiences personally
I LOVED "Stay Sweet"!!!! I want to re-read it soon, as it put me in a really happy mood all the time when I read it. Totally recommend!!!

I just finished The Beauty That Remains by Ashley Woodfolk and adored it for the second time (last year I read it and this month I decided I wanted to reread it) so now I feel like I need more books from Ashley and the one you talked about sounds so good I must pick it up soon haha

I read Spin the Dawn last year a week after it was a released, and finished it in...three days haha! It was absolutely BREATHTAKING. Elizabeth is an amazing writer; the plot was engaging, the romance was swoon-worthy, the adventure was exciting, and the fantasy world-building was exquisite!
I just re-read Spin the Dawn a few days ago, and at first, I wondered if it would still have the same...magical effect on me- since sometimes, the first read of a book is the BEST read. But the book proved me wrong. I was pulled-in by the first page, and knowing how the book was going to end just made me look more into the words and helped me understand everything much better than the first time around.
I pre-ordered the second book to the duology in Feburary of this year, but I've been stopping myself from reading it because I'm saving it for the flight I'm taking to South Korea for my move in a few days. I just KNOW that if I read one page, I won't be able to put it down. 😂
Also, I've been saving Loveboat Taipei as a travel-read as well and I'm very excited to start it. I'm glad to hear that you liked it! ❤

rebecca was so good! it seems long but the pages fly by. try to listen on audiobook you can! really enhances the mood.
Rebecca is such an amazing book! Don't be intimidated by the number of pages cause you'll see, you won't want to put it down! There's so much mystery, you always wanna know more, and the writing is superb! Highly recommend it!

I loved Crescent City. Hope you enjoy it. I've been wanting to read Get a Life Chloe Brown. Beach Read was fun. And Crave was really good. I'm currently reading Midnight Sun, a campion novel to Twilight, and absolutely loving it.

You should definitely read Blood for Blood. There is also Iron to Iron which is companion prequel to Wolf by Wolf. Loved the series. Hope you do too!
I've read the start of me and you it's very cute and a younger read. Predictable in the romance but still amazing.

I read both the Downstairs Girl and Outrun the Moon by Stacey Lee and they were really good!
For crescent city I found it easier to understand by listing to the audio book while reading along

The classic that I am currently reading is The Canterbury Tales. You might like The Downstairs Girl by Stacey Lee, it takes place in the gilded age and the majority of the main characters are Chinese it does take place in the states though. I love your outfit in this video, Hailey!
