Quick question...did you prep the wood or seal it at all before putting down resin? Apologies if you mentioned it during the video....I missed it

Thanks. It is funny how the colors work. The video the day before this was released was using the same colors. Funny how there is 2 completely different results. No, I didn't seal the wood as it was already sealed. No worries on the questions. Ask away. Yes, I will put a flood coat on this because there is always a chance someone could use this to serve food on and the resin looses it's food safety when you introduce color. Fix that with a clear flood coat.

What causes the cells please. Is it silicone oil? Also if I were to use clear bottom coat and add some gold resin with silicone oil in would it give me a webbing effect?

Thanks. I usually mix up about 24 ounces at a time for several projects. If I had to guess, I would say about 8 ounces.
Love it ! Did you use resin colored paints or acrylic paint for the pour colors ? Did you put a finished coat of resin on top when it was finished ?
Thanks. Yes, I do put a flood coat on top. No because acrylics are water based and water and resin don’t react well. I used colors formulated for resin. I get all my resin colors from artist tilldeath.com use code "howdy" for additional off.

Thanks so much. The only thing I add Tom the resin is colors that I get from pastes, pigments, tints or glitters that are designed for resin. No silicone. Way too much clean up and I find it easily contaminates the area and future resin projects. I get all my colors from artisttilldeathe.com ( code “Howdy” for an additional 5% off)
