In this video I wanted to do a floating bloom and not wreck it with the colors from video 201. I hope this video is helpful and inspiring for you and you enjoy watching this half as much as I enjoyed creating it!

PPG Multi-Pro White/Pastel Base in Eggshell: Found at Home Depot (off the shelf)
Pouring Medium Mix:
Base - Valspar Ultra High Gloss Base C: Found at Lowe’s (In Canada it’s called Valspar Hi Gloss Enamel Base C)
Varnish - Varathane Ultimate Polyurethane Water in Crystal Clear Gloss
PM Mixed 3:1 Base/Varnish
Acrylic Paints/Pigments:

Golden Fluid Quinacridone Nickel Azo Gold & Permanent Violet Dark
PM to Paint measurement (ESTIMATE!):
1.5oz (45ml) PM to between 1/4 tsp (1.25ml) to a 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) paint to start. If too thin add a little more paint (or even a gel gloss), if too thick add a little more PM to thin more or even more of your varnish or other acrylic extender/thinner).

Help I tied it what a mess followed your paper instruction in paint recipe - too light. When I poured it it did not blow- the base pillow paint was too thick maybe! Not sure

Millefiori Cloisonne, you made it again. I know that it's not the small pieces of glass that is heated into a metal form. But the cells in your painting look somewhat like the glass. The results of course are beautiful and phenomenal. Thank you, Jodie for the fun. This one is special.

I love this so much Jodie. It’s probably your best. It’s hard to believe there’s only 3 colors. I really love the pillow cells too! I want to say it’s my favorite (and it probably is) but #118 will always have a special place in my heart because that’s the one I came across, when I was first learning to pour, that made me fall in love with the bloom technique. 💜🎨💜🎨
Oh! And PS… I love this color pallet especially when you find ways to set them apart! This one looks like many more colors than three.

They come out so beautiful and then they start looking all wonky and out of shape. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, can you give me any suggestions? Thank you so much! Lee
@@gidgetnsweetpealacarter9797 Hi Lee :) It could be a few things that are causing your wonky cells. I've had to battle it myself and still do sometimes. Leaving too much paint in an area can cause your paints to shift making your cells move around. Too much gloss can also make your cells move around (I always experienced this when using behr 8300 & jo sonja varnish mixed together) as it makes it a bit to slippery, or if your paints and/or cell activator is too thin or too much is added your cells can move around on you. Some trial and error will be needed to figure out exactly what's causing it for you but the above is what will cause it :) Hope this helps!

This is gorgeous!!!! I love it!!! I actually did these same colors today. I did a 5 inch round, a set of coasters with a bloom that actually turned out today. Yeah!!! Finally!!! I liked them so much I did another 5inch round with a swipe. And that one turned out good too! A good day in the studio today!!! After a very bad week. LOL

This is a favorite. I can tell you love it. Thanks for inspiration for the blue black and purple. You have such a steady hand with your blooms. I also love you didn't use any pigments.
