Lovely.
Thank you! 🧡😊 Thanks for watching!
I like the fact you are experimenting
Thanks! 🧡 I feel it’s always an experiment when it comes to resin! 😆😉
I love how you showed your mistakes and showed how you got through them! 💖💖we all go through them its how you deal with them that matters!
Thanks! I definitely make my share of mistakes! Gotta just keep going, and never forget to learn from it!
Love the colors
Thanks! Thank you for watching, too! 😊🧡
Love it
Thank you! 🧡😊
Very cool. I like how you just redo the one you didn't like! Nice effect too with the two different methods.
Thank you! 🧡😊
I love the cells in the red...very nice piece.
LornaH thank you so much! 😊
I luv watching this. I luv how you experiment and learn about your ur resin and how you can create and push the boundaries of resin. 🤗🙌🏻 beautiful
Thank you Scarlett! I know resin has a mind of it's own, but I'm still in charge!... or at least I try to figure out how to be! 😂😋
Spectacular cell effects, lots of fun. Ty
Glad you enjoyed it!! Thanks for watching!
Wow amazing and awesome wood painting 😍🎨👌🤗💕
Thank you so much! 😊
Wonderful. Thank you
Thanks! 😊🧡 Thank you for watching!

Thank you! 🧡☺️ Thanks for watching!
thanks smooch for the tutorial, really beautiful
Thank you! 💛🙂 Thanks for watching!
I love the way this came out. You had me laughing throughout your process I was thinking welcome to my world. I am always thinking I don't like this and add more, when it dries add more or start over lol.
Karen Thomas Thanks Karen! I think that’s how 90% of my pieces are! I’m lucky if I like it at all when I’m done! 🤣
Luv that cool mint color
Me too! One of my faves!!
Oh my gosh that is beautiful! You are so creative & talented. 💖

Awesome Elisha! 😁
Diane Koss Thank you! 😊
Beautiful piece!!!
Thanks Brooke!
Turned out gorgeous. I will have to try Silicone in the resin sometime. Thank you Elisa.
Please do! It’s so much fun! Just remember that layering colors helps, and please checkout my silicone oil in resin demo, and the many other videos I have using silicone oil! czcams.com/video/YQZN0ENYS1Y/video.html

Love it beautiful
Angie’sMixedmediaarts. 2019 Thanks so much Angie!! 🧡
Thx you I love swiping my resin and also using silicone oil. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️🥰
Love the cells in the red section, I am still scared to try silicone in resin, but I want to. This piece turned out beautiful Elisa. 🌹🌹🌹
Thanks Tish!
Start small with silicone! Just do a 4x4 or 6x6 tile. Dam off the sides so you don’t lose the details from running off, and remember layering colors can give you depth in your cells! Whether you like the outcome or not, I promise you’ll have fun watching the silicone react with the resin. Just as fun as alcohol inks!
@@JOTZdesigns thx girl, that's a great idea. I will try it on some 4x4 tiles next time I get to resin. Hopefully soon 🤞🤞🤞😁😁
Can’t wait to see!
Looks great! Do you get dimples on the surface when it dries when you use silcone?
@@cheryldass9832 it does leave dimples so you just have to clean it well. The blue cloth shop rags work well and then do a flood coat. That takes care of the dimples. 🌹
This is awesome Elisa, I was just curious if you can get cell using scquick coat & your video popped up first. Ty very much. You are amazing.
Thanks Lisa! 😊
You can certainly get cells in any resin, just gotta work quick quick with quick coat! 😉
I’ve got a couple more with the same technique if you want to check them out!

Will Silicone Oil work in Stone Coat Quick Coat??
czcams.com/video/TDYKK-OIDSo/video.html
So beautiful!
Does the silicone leave dips in the resin and require additional coats of resin?
Thank you! Generally you will get dips when you use silicone, and need a clear coat of resin to fill them in, especially with as much as I often love using! It’s just something to be expected. The trick is how you prep it before your clear. Most of the time I add a clear layer, silicone or not, so making sure I prep it correctly for the next layer will be done anyway.
You can see how I like to prep for the next layer in this clock video (I did not seal this red and green piece as I normally seal others...🤷♀️), just skip ahead to 7:12! czcams.com/video/GI6i3P_LfRc/video.html
Can you use the silicone to make cells for ocean waves?
I would actually recommend using paste made for resin for ocean waves. My favorite is Angel White from Le Rez (discount & link in video description), and using a hairdryer or heat gun to move it. You can reference this video for what I mean. czcams.com/video/S7QKYm8dMQE/video.html
Amazing artworks! @ 9:35 what kind of silicon did you use? Can i have its specifications of silicon. Thanks you!
I used 3-in-1 silicone oil. It’s 100% silicone oil. You can see the bottle at 7:28, and the link is amzn.to/2tD1JAL. You can find links to the products I use in the description! Thanks for watching!
@@JOTZdesigns thanks you! GBU!
How do you make those "cells"/bubble effect? I've heard about gently and randomly pooring isopropyl alcohol. Would that work?
I do not often use isopropyl alcohol on my resin pours. If I do, it’s mixed with mica powders, and for those effects, check out Coutertop Epoxy videos!
If you mean the green center of this piece, I used silicone oil. I explain how I use it and show how I apply it starting at 6:45.
Thanks for watching!
What I noticed is less is more when it comes to resin
Definitely depends on the project! Thanks for watching!
Can you mix the silicone directly with the resin?
Yes you can! I did that in this video, and spoke about it at 9:23.
Check out this other video I did also, to see how it turns out when pouring the reain with silicone onto already poured colors too. czcams.com/video/GI6i3P_LfRc/video.html
How about the adhesion of the epoxy that contain silicone oil to other epoxy layer? Is it fully properly adhere of not?
100% adhered.
@@JOTZdesigns 🤝 thank you!
Happy to help!
Its so much informative 😁 Thanks for sharing the vedio , i have one question if we don't have this silicone oil then is there any substitute for this? Would you please assist me 😊
Thanks! Silicone oil is certainly unique and I haven’t come across anything that gives the same results. It’s very easy to find, though. Any hardware store/department will carry it, and it’s generally cheap. 🧡🙂 Thanks for watching!
@@JOTZdesigns Thank you so much for your response ☺️☺️ I will search here in hardware shop 👍 one more question if I want to give waves cell effect so can I mix few drops with white opaque pigment and resin it will work?
@tanujain7133 you’re welcome! For waves, silicone oil is not the way to go. You’ll want to use a white resin paste and blow it out with a hair dryer or heat gun. I’d recommend a hair dryer, though. Heat guns apply a lot of heat and you run the chance of the resin becoming too liquidy and you lose the cells.
For the pastes, I love using the whites from Le Rez (purchased through Laura’s Art Corner) and Dryer Days. You can find links and discount codes in the description. In the video I linked below, I use System Three from Amazon and there’s a link for that under the Colors section of the description of that video.
Check out what I do at both 2:00 and 9:54 (separate layer) in this video and you’ll see what I mean about using a hair dryer. czcams.com/video/G86QpteWkJU/video.htmlsi=KO9K8FbYRDGefynP
@@JOTZdesigns so nice of you ❤️😍 thank you so much for your assistance 🙏😊
@tanujain7133 happy to help! 🙂
What is the pigment company? Id like to check it out
I used Le Rez Expressions pastes, Stone Coat black base tint, and some powders I do not know the brand of. I have links in the description for the Le Rez and Stone Coat.
Thanks for watching!
That dried so dam fast for you to be able to sand it that quick wtf
Both resins were allowed time to cure fully. Gotta love the amazing abilities of editing! Thanks for watching!
How much silicone oil did you use?
In the mint I used maybe 3-4 drops and mixed it well. When I use a tooth pick, I put a tiny amount in a cup and dip the tip of the tooth pick in. A little goes a long way. Thanks for watching!
Check out this video for more info on using silicone oil.
