    I like the realistic testing parameters done in your tests. running a test on giant battery banks is cool, but not what I have in my vehicles.

    I've been changing amps recently at the rate of 1 amp per year in the never ending quest to get better, louder sound. I'm currently on a JL RD1500/1. I researched and despite what I found, I had to learn the hard way and experience it myself because honestly, there are so many opinions coming from people that have no actual experience with the product they're giving their opinion on. (Your brother's friend's cousin does NOT count).
    Anyway, my EXPERIENCE with an Audiopipe APCLE 1500 was very positive. I did very bad things to it and it continued to work and it sounded pretty good. I've read people say they catch fire. I don't know of any. Mine didn't, but a Rockford Fosgate I had did, but I don't go around saying Rockford amps catch fire because crap happens. But the big lesson I've learned, as long as you have enough power, not even your sub choice will have as much impact on your sound as your sub enclosure and cabin gain. Also, the most important lesson- don't ever let anyone shame you with what your running if you are happy with it because at the end of the day, it's your money and your ears, and last time I checked, the only one that can hear through your ears is you. (And you should never let someone else spend your money, that's your spouse's job).

    Budget gem does almost 3k at .5ohm. Paired with 2 bamf-152 and it's the best bang per buck.

    I have this amp paired with 2 Audiopipe bd3 10s … does anyone think I can handle an extra 10 ? I been thinking of adding one more but not sure if I’ll need another small amp for it ?

      Depending upon what impedance your woofers are you might be able to add another but it would be slightly underpowered.

    A question I’ve had for a long time is if I run four 8 inch subwoofers in my truck would I need a two channel amp or a four channel?

    • @gakudzu7282
      @gakudzu7282 Před 2 lety

      Sub-bass is recorded in mono, so there's no need to separate the channels. You could run 4(or 40) subs on a monoblock amp, provided you have the power to push them and don't wire them below the amp's load rating.

    • @JohnDoe-mx1sq
      @JohnDoe-mx1sq Před 2 lety

      You can run 1, 2, or 4 channels.
      Best bet will be one channel if all the drivers are identical and in the same box. Just make sure the impedance (ohms) is correct for your amp.
      You can run 4p parallel (+ ->++++ ---- +-+-+-+- +-+- +-+-

    No this amp should hit it's ratings at 14.4 volts but could run at 16 volts for more power. But shit guys get more power. How long before you guy do these test correct with the correct power? Come on man!
