  • Former American school buses operating in Panama City, Panama. They have been painted in different colors. They have a reputation of being death traps.

    Είχα υποβάλλει και στο παρελθόν το ερώτημα, θα συνεχίζω να το υποβάλλω μέχρι να λάβω απάντηση: γιατί στις ΗΠΑ, μια χώρα με τόσο μεγάλη σοβαρότητα, επιτρέπεται να χρησιμοποιείται ο συγκεκριμένος τύπος ως "σχολικό λεωφορείο"; Η μεγάλη "μούρη" μπροστά δεν προσφέρει καλή ορατότητα, ο κύκλος στροφής είναι τεράστιος και γενικά η όλη κατασκευή δείχνει φτηνή και με σημαντικές υποχωρήσεις σε θέματα που αφορούν την άνεση, το κράτημα στο δρόμο, τον θόρυβο και κυρίως την ασφάλεια. Τα κλασσικά λεωφορεία με τη μηχανή πίσω, χωρίς μούρη και με ενιαία παράθυρα με σύστημα κλιματισμού δεν θα ήταν πολύ πιο πρόσφορα για να μεταφέρουν μαθητές και μικρά παιδιά;

    The coaches and the Marco Polo transit buses at the Rodaviaria seem reasonably modern in comparison.
    I'm guessing these go to the poorest parts of town?

    Those buses are used in some routes out of the city and their owners like to decorate it. There are a lot of videos in YT about the “Diablo rojo culture”. in Panama city we used Gran Viale Marco Polo buses and the subway

    It`s amazing how the customization or tuning of buses have a lot of variety here in Latin America, there in Panamá i see in your video is more like stunning paintjobs and big exhaust pipes , in other places like in Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, and here in Chile, we use chrome accessories that come from Brazil, i like a lot that because it shows how the driver try to make look better his bus winning some character with the accessories and other modifications in the engine and turbo

    Los Diablos rojos siempre fueron los primeros Buses que llegaron a Panamá, son parte de la cultura panameña por sus decoraciones y sus luces 😎😎 sin duda son los mejores Buses de Panamá 🔥🔥😎

    I think it's called a death trap for reckless driving by drivers. Are they private buses?

      All private owners, I believe you're correct.

      Not only here, but in many Asian countries, it is the same thing, private buses accumulate for more collisions than government buses.

    Sadly these urban patrimonium, which golden era were from 90's to 2015 would be desapear in 5 to 10 years by Korean buses (KIA and Hyundai) and Volvos.
