    For someone just getting into this sort of hobby what sort of printer would you suggest getting? Any guidelines and the cheapest but most effective option?

    • @rybniksealsproduction7198
      @rybniksealsproduction7198  Před 4 lety +1

      Well, I use public printer, because it results in very quality print and If you wouln´t use it very often it is also probably the cheapiest way. I tried normal printer, but even though the print looked very nicely, it chiped off easily. Actually you can see this in my other videos. So if you are not planning to use it often, I recommend rather use the public one.

      @@american_rider6596 About the printer. It might work and 60 bucks is not bad. But make sure, that the quality of print is good, because either way you could just throw money out your window. Even though the printed pictures may look beautiful, it is also important to check if it won´t chip off easily. This would make it useless.

      @@ezrawilliam4849 Well, it depends. You should use less thick paper for small parts that require some modeling and more thick paper for big parts. With models that you would buy already printed, for example from company GPM, you might recive sheets of different thickness according to the parts. But doing this with models that you can download from internet would be quite a lot of work. And for these I use 160 gpm paper, because it is very common. I hope this helped :D
