    There is something about WW1 and WW2 ships that are just romantic and stylish.
    Modern ones still look badass but they feel like some kind of a streamlined soulless machines.

      yes, you are right. I think the same way. Especially Japanese ships of that time look somehow "romantic" - I really love them

    Those 1/700 planes on aircraft carriers are always killing me. They are like human faces, no matter how small they are, any imperfections on them are still very visible on a finalized model and painting them properly in this scale is no easy task even for nimble hands. You have nailed them 100 % though.

    • @michaelmartin9022
      @michaelmartin9022 Před 4 lety +4

      I wanted to get into modelling and bought a bunch of planes modelled in transparent plastic, so I could leave the cockpits unpainted and have them "see through"... ish.
      Then I just sold everything.

I might invest in the Rainbow upgrade set but it’s not cheap, so Flyhawks smaller set might have to suffice.......

    a little suggestion with the mattress on the bridge, before they are cut to smaller pieces, you can use the tip of the blade(not the sharp part) to press and roll the string of putty and create many rings on it, you can then cut it to smaller pieces and you will have an effect of the mattress being tied to the outside of the bridge
