You’ve gained a new subscriber💫 I found your channel by searching “how to drill a ceramic mug” for drainage, because my boyfriend swore it could not be done. I bought a set of 8 mugs at a consignment shop for just $2 today so it’s the perfect set to practice on, I can’t wait to line up some succulents in mugs in my tea room 😃 I bought a little eggplant purple Mimicry succulent for one of them already. Then I clicked on this video and now I know I’m about to be sucked into the wormhole of your plant videos 😆 love seeing success for CZcamsrs and passionate people, especially planty passionate people!!💗
Happy Sparrow,
Here’s a tip I use for my ceramics, put a layer of pea pebbles or cheap aquarium gravel at the bottom of mugs. Then put cactus dirt. It helps keep the succ roots dry and you don’t have to drill holes :D
Succulents are so cool. If we know how to propagate them properly, they can be an endless supply of options!
This is a great plant "follow up" video. Would love to see more of these. I always wondered what to do with unruly arrangements and how to gracefully transition them. I can also see that I need to add more plants to my containers! My plants are spaced too far apart. I like how you always pack a container full. Thanks for this update. Lisa

I don’t know a lot about succulents yet but that donkeys tail looks really nice 🤷🏼♀️
Oh yes.....WELCOME BACK Laura & Aaron and WELCOME to the world Benjamin David! 👼😇. Your parents have created a beautiful world, for you to grow up and play.
First video I got recommended to me: oh this is really relaxing actually nice
5th video : *a l l h a i l t h e p l a n t q u e e n*
A compilation video showing how you harvest, stick, grow on and pot up your succulents would be awesome! Especially starting with leaves.
Beautiful. Love the plant room as a winter set! Glad to see you back on the Tubes. Every time my girls and I drive by a garden center we look to see what’s in there, I swear the first time we see flowers this year we’ll scream with joy. Come on Spring! I need flowers in my life.
I love succulents and have grown them for years now. You are giving me a a lot more inspiration on dividing them and re-potting them. I didn't know you could just cut them and replant them... Thank You !!
So nice to have you back. I would also love to see what your succulent wreaths look like a year after in case you need some ideas!
Oh Laura I am so glad you are back! I just started with succulents inspired by you! Give baby hugs and kisses
I really appreciate the videos on succulents, I struggle growing them, but I'm not giving up on trying to grow them because I love them so much, thank you for all of the tips.
So glad you're back! Motherhood makes you look even more beautiful!!
I'm loving succulents more and more!!🌱🌵
Hi! I’ve been working on my succulents and getting in new ones. I’m watching your videos on care to fill my self with knowledge. I lost a couple this past year and I’ve learned so much from you so I’m excited to get going and put your advice to work. Awesome video!
Laura, I keep several pony-pak containers from color plants and start succulents. All the same, or a combination. Makes a new succulent dish garden. 😉👍🏼
Thank you for sharing videos like this about succulents. I always question how to dismantle my old arrangement to make new ones. This totally motivated me to redo some of mine that definitely looked robbed from me taking cuttings. We did a outdoor succulent garden last year we definitely experienced some loss but I'm excited about what is thriving. I love watching what is established and loving life outside in our zone.
Hey laura, give us a little tour on the plants behind you, they look beautiful for sure!.
I found dozens of baby Autumn Joy sedum growing along some dried stems from my older plants. After watching a few of your videos I am attempting to propagate. I'm excited to see how they do. Thank you for all the great advice! Love all of your videos!
Love it!!! Thanks for showing us how you take apart an old arrangement and make it new again!!! 💕
I just LOVE our videos. I never thought about planting succulents until I stumbled upon your channel. Keep up the Great Content!
I'm really happy that your posting vids again. It literally felt like a part of me was missing when you had the baby and stopped posting 😄
Perfect timing for this video...I'm working on succulents this week and have a ton of cuttings to repot. Thanks!
Still looks beautiful, I love succulents.
I love to see something like this. Finally I know it the arrangement can live longer not just for show. Thank you.
Your hands are like magic.
you have become my favourite gardener in so less days, love you 😘
Thank you for this helpful video. Also, I truly appreciated your candor about chronic mealy bugs with your one fireside crassula. I've tried to share my personal experiences with mealy bugs and how certain succulents are more prone to these pests, but some people got SO sensitive it got crazy. Lol
Great video! Thanks for showing what it looks like a year later! I'm trying to keep my succulent alive at my work. We shall see! Lol. Love and prayers to the three of you!💕
would love to see an updated tour of your garden room sometime! thx.
Thank you Laura!! I have new succulent plant/spring fever SO BAD right now!! I lost quite a few succulenta this winter! :( Would you consider doing a winter care video for succies!?
Yes! A winter care video would be great!
you're adorable! and so are your plants! thanks for existing!
Beautiful. Always appreciate your detailed videos of making arrangements. Thanks for all you do.
I just keep watching this one over and over 💖 love it
Awesome! Would love to see more of these "after one/X year, re-potting" videos!
Laura!! it's good to see you back!! I love how you did a follow up video and this makes me want to work with succulents even more! been waiting for a looong time haha but anyways, thank you for inspiring us all!! Greetings all the way from the Philippines!
Great video! Those plants have done well for you. It's probably very refreshing to clean up/revamp a succulent arrangement. Seeing this video reminds me that i have succulents to tidy up. Thanks for sharing:)
Gracias x la traducción y gracias por toda la enseñanza, un abrazo desde Bolivia
Glad you made a video like this. I always wondered if you kept the arrangements you make for videos.
I LOVE this style of video! ❤️❤️❤️
I like knowing that we can successfully plant newly cut succulents, just need to wait to water. Thank you!
You make it look easy!
Hi Laura. Garden Answer. Someone told me your name. I looked at the reply 's to your videos. But I wasn't sure. Thanks for the video on 1 year old Succulant Arrangement. Have a great day.
I’ve been watching your videos for a couple of days now, and have learned so much! I love succulents and have a lot
Thanks for your help
Thank you❣️
I'd love to see how some of your fairy gardens look after a year 😊
Wow! This is great, now I want to go buy succulents today instead of go to work... :-)
Denise King I totally understand this pain Denise!! Hehe!!
Denise King Lol
Amen
Relatable
Very pretty! Awesome collection of succulents you used. Looks great. Have a wonderful day:)
Fantastic!
Now you're gonna have to do another update video on this arrangement in a year. xD
Thank you for sharing... xx
I’m a new subscriber. Just watched mauve green succulent video. I love succulents, and do many arrangements of them in different types of containers, mostly dish gardens. I have a strawberry pot I redo every THREE YEARS on average. But others I have to redo more often. Love your videos, Dear One. 😘🙏🏼❤️
I think I am going to ask my husband to find me some little plants to tend to for Valentines Day. It will help me to get thru the rest of the winter season.
I love it! You have a great creative mind! AND SO MANY PLANTS! (I’m sobbing in jealousy right now 🤣) keep it up!
Thanks I needed to see this as I am proporgating
Thank you for this video!! I’ve been wondering what to do with the overgrown pots I have!
....my spring list : String of Buttons and Donkey Sedum...(is that what it's called?) 😆
Hey Laura, I love your videos. just wanted to give an idea about planting from the back; you could try using a mirror!
This is so helpful!
Beautiful! Wish I had your talent.........
Thanks
thank you! ive alwayed loved succulents, but i origanily came for help. last night something fell off my shelf and broke my big aloe! after watching your video, i feel much better! i know that i can save the first aloe plant and learned how to make the broken peices grow!
totally enjoyed this video
Please show us the plant room and how you clean your pruners scissors. Thanks Laura!!
Only you could take a cutting with perfect roots
Welcome back. Perfect timing for "refurbishing". I will be working on mine now that the temps are warming up here in Florida. Question tho, is there no need to scab over these before sticking them in soil. And you cut off some roots. No roots needed?
Hi .. I love watching your videos ... ur succulents are beautiful... m from India we don’t much variety of succulents... love ur ideas...
very instructional thanks from paris tennessee
Love it..💚
Love it's!!!
Thanks Laura!
Great video and information. Keep up the good worka
great video.
I can't even begin to imagine what your power bill is with all those grow lights 😆 I have 4 including T5s (plus we heat a greenhouse) and ours is through the roof 😳 Yours must be at LEAST a couple grand - or more - with all those lights (I'm totally jealous, I wish I had that many lol!!)
I think it would be cool if you took an old arrangement and took cuttings from the plant but left some of the plant in the ground and watched it grow back and branch to become fuller
Great video update, thanks.
You could set up a mirror in front of you, out of camera shot, or another video screen that you can look at to asses your arrangement from the front
You could try utilizing a small mirror across from your work surface to help you see the arrangement come along. Maybe that would help?
Thanks for your update. It's great to see how the arrangement has fared after a year. You mentioned they've been indoors? Do you choose specific succulents for indoors vs outdoors? I tried having mine indoors, but they mostly got leggy and not very pretty after a few months.
Love the update on the planter. I am not sure what to do when they grow too big and get a little leggy. Can you also keep the plants in the arrangement and just cut back the ones that get too tall? Will they regrow and fill in nicely?
Hi Laura I would like to know if you would show the plants you have behind you they look so nice. Thanks
I love all your videos, im from Philippines, i wish we have the same season in your country so that i can plant many sacculant bec. A lot of my plant died bec of our climate😞..
The watering can grew nicely. Nice follow up. Sorry if I missed this-did the can have holes in the bottom?
When doing a fresh cutting arrangement could you use a quick drying glue to seal the end? I know they say that roots can still form when they make wall gardens.
Love your videos! Can you tell me the brand of grow lights you like to use?
yay! can you show how to separate the succulents like the black prince those types in to more than one plant i have had great luck with them but they bloom on the top and i'm afraid to kill them instead of separating them properly.
Hi Laura. I really love your videos! I'm new to succulents and I am learning a lot.
I have noticed some gnats around and would like to get rid of them right away.
What do you think about using Neem Oil to get rid of the gnats?
Would I just spray it on the soil?
HOLY CRAP IT'S BEEN A YEAR?!?!
Snatched. It’s been another year.
I’m going to a nursery this weekend, and I have a north facing room. Any tips for super low light, with a small grow light?
What is that long Curley thing?
Laura hi!
When you finished this new arrangement, why not simply turn the pot around so you can easily see the front? Can make changes or add as you see fit?
Have you done a video about indoor grow lights? Every year I look into lights and end up not buying any because I am completely overwhelmed.
There is no cactus mix avalble in my country can u make a video on making cactus mix at home.
Thanks
Great vid!! Will a succulent make new root from the cut end if there is no leaf node? Thanks in advance.
ZanaLawson Yes it should. Just make sure the stem is long enough to place into the soil (1-2cm)
Do an update on the wreath, please!
So are you able to use the leaves or stems that you cut off the original plant elsewhere? I kinda got that from what you said. I’m just now starting and your videos are great but I’m just curious if/when I get to that point of moving the plants can I start a whole new pot with those extras cut off? Can I use a leaf I cut off of say the ?elephant? Succulent and then try and grow another one?
When can I build my 7 foot Greenhouse also when can I start buying spring plants?
One time can you leave the roots and show us an update on them in 3 months or when they have grown some please. Ty
I love you Shehab from Egypt
Do you ever worry about rust when planting in metal? What if you see rust? Will it affect the plants?
my string of buttons doesn’t grow as full as those the leaves are further away from each other, do you think it’s just a different strain?
