Only 2,194 miles since meticulous body off frame restoration. Excellent fit and finish. Desirable features including split bumper front end, air conditioning, ps, pdb and more. Gorgeous looks too.
EXTERIOR: It is hot looking. Check out the stance, it's dropped down with a forward rake. The body and paint are amazing. It is absolutely laser beam straight from any angle. There is no rust or damage, the body gaps are precise. The paint is laid out like black glass. The silver SS stripes are smooth to the touch. Jambs are painted real slick. Features include spoilers, cowl hood and the Rally Sport front end. It has all new glass. All the chrome, window moldings, lenses, window seals and weatherstrips were replaced. The rally wheels have highly polished trim and BFG tires.
INTERIOR: It is like brand new inside. I'm looking at a pristine dash. New instrument bezel, lenses, vents, dash pad, steering wheel, knobs and factory gauges including tachometer and working clock. New carpet, the center console is in excellent shape. It has a retro digital stereo with an auxiliary plug. New door panels including the handles. New headliner and upholstery. It's new everywhere I look- trim on the pedals, seat brackets, mesh speaker shelf etc. Upgraded 3 point retractable seat belts.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a real healthy built 350 motor upgraded with aluminum heads, Edelbrock intake, Edelbrock carb with electric choke. It has an Accel HEI ignition system and a set of headers. Dressed up real nice with aluminum Chevrolet valve covers and spark plug wire holders. The front of the motor has a March billet bracket and pulley system with serpentine belt. It also has the polished mini a/c compressor and a polished alternator. New power steering system including the pump, steering box, rag joint and upgraded stainless braided hoses. The engine bay is all clean metal painted very nicely. The wiper motor is new and the squirters are hooked up. New power brake system. It has an upgraded aluminum radiator with dual electric fans.

The stance is amazing, but it must be very close to rubbing the front fenders when turning sharp.

Omg, a black shiny like glass Camaro? I'm thinking there are so many of these beauties around I shoild be paid to take one home. Looks like a driver, just kidding... it's not a collector, if I'd buy it, I'd put it in a barn for 20 years and sell it back to Jay if we're both alive.
Black Camaros in 1970 would have been special order. It wasn't one of 15 standard available colors. Therefore when you see 1970 black Camaros like this example they are almost assuredly repaints and the choice of the restorer. And BTW... the color black is not all that common really because of the time/labor expense associated with prepping a black car for paint.
