Thanks for the feature! We are still actively running tests and collecting and validating data, but we are excited to release this for preorder soon!
Your welcome as always.
Anything new on the development of these?
Crazy!!! I couldn’t imagine that kind of power in my Q50!!
Judging by the cost of the alpha 9 turbos for the gtr I think this will cost 5-6k most likely 6k.
probably a g and a half cheaper from gtr willin to bet you 😂
Z1 bb turbos are $5199 for the awd version. I would think AMS turbos will be a few grand more at the least.
Better content lately. I appreciate it.thanks boost
Thanks boost 👍🏾
790 whp on Z1 turbo by Racebox. You can just run e30 and make 700whp and call it a day which is probably what most people will do.
I peeped the lack of hate when soho teased their kit versus B&C which is odd but expected granted they are more reputable. Their A2A kit(granted it’s a better one) with AMS turbos. Definitely will see more 9s and maybe 8s stock block/trans vr30s. And tcu tunes coming ? Sheeshhhh
B&C is trash tho that’s why.
@@tobymarshall1077 I mean that’s subjective, you can’t take away them breaking records and practically forcing companies hand to produce products once they seen B&C getting the clout up. You really think soho would’ve been as focused to produce a A2A if It was never one to begin with ?
Im looking for the Turbo that can get you 550 to 600 whp on 93 with out sacrificing as much low end tq. Somewhere in between PS2 and z1. Im sure someone will crack that puzzle. Exciting times for the VR platform.
Is it possible to hit 500WHP on 93 and still have it stock daily reliability?
@@umar77995when you’re not upgrading internals or trans you will not have stock reliability on a higher turbo output. only margin of return is your cooling, maintenance
@@umar77995yeah z1 vrx70 turbos already do that they hit 503 whp on 93.
@@umar77995yup, RA500 kit from AMS.
You can hit 500whp plus on 93 and have reliability; drastically lowered backpressure is the main reason. This is using the Z1's. I'm sure the AMS units will be on par with or better.
About time they did this. About time SOMEONE did this. They wanna wait til the Z comes out before really jumping on serious parts for the VR30. The Z may be a sales flop and this shaky VR30 aftermarket may fall off. They had turbos for the B58 almost immediately. Why did the VR30 crowd have to wait so long?
Mostly cause the b58 is single turbo, and it’s much easier to mount, there’s a ton of space. The vr30 is extremely tight, and garrets don’t fit, so that why they had to design something from the ground up. The b58 they just through in the garrets with some adapters.
@@2seep I understand that but the VR30 came out in 2016. The Z comes out and AMS drops turbos in no time. Z1 should've been dropped turbos for it. RT and Pure shouldn't have held the market for soooo long. It's 2023. The Q50/Q60 market is dying. The 370Z should've been turbocharged in 2016. The Q60 was and it was basically a 370Z. I love Nissan /Infiniti but they suck. I had a Q50RS AWD.
@@jaydubb71 More like it took this LONG to make VR30 turbos. You gotta remember for the longest time, it was just OEM hybrid turbos or super complex one off turbo kits. Both these and the z1 turbos are direct style fit and designed to work with OEM Wastegates, Intakes and down pipes. Its a lot of Engineering. They didn't magickly make these in the 6 months the Z has been out. Did the Z speed that up? Sure but they have been working on these for a good few years.
It’ll definitely be a stock block maybe even trans hitting mid 9s by the end of the year
I believe they posted on their Instagram the new Z got into the 9s I believe
@@luismonarrez6845 yea I seen they got deeper into the 9s w their turbos it’s honestly exciting. I genuinely believe A2A ( less weight ) ams turbos and a good tcu tune would do wonders

This is scary, long overdue
What we thinking about the vr30 trans tune
Let's goo
Awesome.. I'm back on my infiniti shit now,, lol
What is air to air/water
Someone made 740 wheel horsepower with Z1 turbos, they were tuned by btuned
Yes correct
It’ll blow up
Wats price of kits
We need a completely compatible package even if total 20k build
Why not use E85? The cooling on it alone is worth it.
Hope u aren't talking about the B&C kit..
Transmission?
stock block supras are running 8s
That’s 850whp, that’s very dangerous on a stock block, rods will bend and cause damage. That’s for the all or nothing people. Also has more to do with the weight of the Supra which is 3400lbs
I kno it going sound dumb is this going to be for the q50 q60 an the Nissan z platform or just the Nissan z platform
All
The real question is is it a 1k hp on a stock block?
ill go z1
thats sick as fuk but from what im hearing these motors break just being stock imagine 1000hp? also has coolant issues too? i want a Q60rs but idk man shits confusing.
Motors never blow stock. Only if the turbos leak oil it causes motor oil starvation then it blows only present in 2017 q60(I have one).Never under its own power. Coolant issues? It doesn’t have cooling issues at all. It has heat soaking tho, but that’s due to the nature of small turbos, bigger turbos remove heat soak from the equation. Don’t get a q60rs just get a q60 3.0t premium, same exact engine much less weight, since it’s the same engine fbo bolt ons and a tune will yield the same results and the redsport fbos and a tune, however you’ll be faster since your lighter. Also if you do get a q60 get amsoil signature 5w30, the heat from the turbos kills 0w20.
I agree with the guy above , except don’t go premium get sport you’ll regret not getting it tbh
@@2seepi have a 2018 AWD Q60 RS & absolutely LOVE it‼️ it has every package minus, the “Pro-Active Package” which I didn’t want D.A.S. Steering etc etc. Anyhow, been tuned by Racebox for over 30k FBO on E30 now & running like a dream. We are really close to cracking the 10’s 1/4 currently, full interior weight & minor weight reduction (Z1 2 Piece Rotors, Lightweight Wheels etc). 0-60 3.2 & 11.2 1/4 as of now, installing the 3” Boosted6 Auto Shorties & a new file to run them properly. You can still make fantastic times w/ purchasing a Red Sport, it all depends on your needs…I like bells & whistles lol Getting ready for an E50 retune, but also working w/ RB for the TCM tune. It’s in Beta still, but it’s coming for the platform 💯💯💯 Hit me up on IG: @my60rs always love helping the community 🙏
@@luismonarrez6845 redsport doesn’t offer much. You would’ve upgraded all of those component to better aftermarket ones anyways. Added weight isn’t worth the extra 5-7k
@@2seep I meant sport not redsport
Now once you hit about 800hp the heads start to walk...so forged short block build with custom head gaskets and arp bolts. valves and springs and fueling. Cooling If you plan on coping keep it under 700hp na race fuel lol
Whenever I hear 700whp plus I’m always wondering are they listing the reliability mods needed to support that number. Def takes some cash.
@@bigjdm5460horspower doesn’t affect internals nearly as much torque does. The vr30 can have high wheel horspower as long as the torque stays at 600 lbft of torque on stock internals.
@@2seep I’m aware torque bends rods that’s why my 2jz build has Manley h tuff rods. First thing on a 2jz to give is modern turbos on e85 putting down way to much torque below 4k rpm’s (58mm-68mm turbos) . Besides all that the point is at 800whp etc transmission and internals etc start to break. So I would prefer a little more in depth info on reliability mods that need to be done etc.
I can smell the pourus block from here
Hella rare
Coolant will fuck that engine up quick
@@2seep 2020 edition 30 q50 AWD . 33k miles , tuned for 2k miles pourus block large amount of coolant in oil per black stone 5w-30
2021 stock q50 rwd 41k miles , not tuned at all pourus block coolant found in oil 0w-20 , both of my friends with q60s have both been through pourus block and warranty already .
Hence z1 dropping all brand new vr30 motors to 5k from 15k
Hence the brand new 2023 Z motor being 11k new to begin with .
Wonder why every single vr30ddtt motor AWD or not have been price dropped by 10 thousand dollars lol.
Have fun with that . -Team vette
@@2seep and the 2020 was tuned with sonic . Probably the most conservative tuner ever
@@Justin-hy8pjporous block is a factory issue, very few vr30s come with those issues. No tune could cause porous block because it’s a manufacturing issue. Just use warranty and get a new vr30 you won’t see that issue again.
They look nice but knowing ams they'll probably charge 100k and a kidney for these😂
2024 Skyline Nismo ? @boostinmotion
Could you imagine the cost of these in an Alpha Staged package? Would easily cost you over $22k total. I can see someone picking up a used low mileage Q50 for around $29K, to then drop another $22k for this kit. The overall cost for performance might be tempting if the low end torque and daily drivability isn't completely wrecked. I'm curious to see where this goes. Now we just need a company to make an exhaust system that doesn't sound like complete and utter shit, yes that includes ARK and FI.
Hey so what’s up with the development of these? Are these finished as yet? @AMSperformance @boostinmotion
