top mount turbos will be uselss unless you have money, only good outcome is bigger turbo but along with that u will also need a level 10 trans and a built engine
there is no point in putting much larger than a garrett g25-550 anyways. the cylinder head becomes a restriction plus with those, youre already making 800-900rwhp anyways. btw, the VR30 sounds like hell because its a V6. ALL V6s sounds like crap, period.
Vr38 sounds nice imo but yeah it's kindna waste in going top mount big turbo unless u modified the entire block & pistons to handle all that power without blowing up

When you buy a turbo car only to find out you'll still be spending as much as if it was NA to begin with (if not more) in order to be happy with boost. Might as well just sell it and buy a used R35. This is why the new Z just doesn't really do it for me. Nissan likes to be innovative and in the process they sort of ruin aspects of the car that traditionally were easy to upgrade.

New turbos just came out for this platform by z1. 670 whp with fbo at just 17psi. And they are bolt ons so no modifications necessary.
