@SJ-kf5zh Luckily it snapped while doing hard pull with the dealership technician next to me as he wanted to hear the squeal to know if turbo or belt. Car snapped 0.5 miles away from the dealership. Only battery red lamp came on, we turned back and by the time we arrived at the dealership the car overheated thats when we shut it down. I just hope nothing affected the engine. I should have changed the belt first then check for noise after, not trying to reproduce. He told me not to worry we didn't drive it for long without belt but asked to leave the car there as they had to close. Its 3 am I can't sleep stomach all over scared af. I spent a lot on this car modification and dont have warranty

@@jz1607 you should be fine. I did that done that on the video I made why I installed my downpipe at home. I took my car for a test drive. I dropped my cousin off to work and while my friend was with me when we’re going back home to work on his 37 my car made a grenade noise like plastic was shredding. Everywhere noise at a red light after heat soaking doing pulls😂 while I had my AC running When we pulled up in the shopping center parking lot I’m looking at my engine coolant temperature gauge on the cluster and I noticed that the temperature is rising so I turn off the car and I popped the hood. Next thing you know I have like a millimeter left of belt and I called a tow truck to my house and I change the belt by myself at home at the time there was no belt at AutoZone or anything so I had to go to a different borough to buy a belt I got the belt when I got back home. I cut the old belt off and changed it.

@@jz1607 the only bad thing that could possibly happen is if your belt exploded and it cut your oil pressure sensor wires that would be annoying to deal with But yeah, you should get your car out of the dealership. They’re gonna TAX you. If you lived by me I would change your belt for free , don’t let them charge you over 100 , a belt cost $30😂 I don’t have warranty either. I got rid of mine because when I try to contact them, they would never even respond to a email call or text so if I really needed them, I would never be able to hear from them so it’s not worth it I’d rather just use my own cash if something happens.
