#Queen #MiltonKeynes #HotSpace - Hudba
Best version of that song in existence.
John Deacon on the guitar, a rare sight to behold
Indeed, shame there’s no good close up shots of him.
The rarest is piano
And when he and Brian played in unison, they were in perfect synchronization. Masters.
That’s why this is literally one of the best official releases of Queen… 🔥🔥🔥
@@Wyattbodenheimerofficial but he didn’t play it live, did he?
This version could've been a hit if it was on the album
“We just want to try out a few sounds..” ~ as Mercury says..
it’s the first track on Hot Space…
Agreed. For some reason the studio tracks on Hot Space lack the energy of the live versions, or maybe it's the fact that they increased the tempo when doing it live.
He means the way they played it in the show@@AlexeBriand2002
Also no guitars in most of them@@FredBarchetta
Here it is, the best ever version of Staying Power! Everything is great about this version, simply everything
Absolutely the best
@@tyoung3455
To me, live versions are better than the album version.
i wouldn't say that.@@mariadanielaoliveracalvo7040
Oh my GOD they are the BEST funk band in the UNIVERSE. Queen rule, that was FANTASTIC.
"Fucking Power" - Freddie from Leeds 1982
bruh the only way this comment can be seen is by newest first so rip
I've seen it from Most revelant and didn't have to scroll much! Nice comment
@@vitasdb yeah idk what happened it's now allowed in most relevant

Freddie is the best singer of all time.
One of the highlights of the show, best version!
His vibrato hits so hard. And hes perfectly on pitch, EVERY TIME. The fact that it's an 80s live recording just makes me appreciate it even more.
You just cant teach this shit. He was just 1 in a million bajillion.
John Deacon tocando guitarra, lo mejor que he visto
Freddie, frontman extraordinaire, writing, dancing, singing to grow the brand and entertain ALL the fans. Hot Space a fav album of many these years later.
Cool Cat is a song that would make Marvin Gaye jealous! Love love love Hot Space! As if we needed any more reminder that Freddie is the greatest vocalist and frontman of all time!
Roger's backing vocal really helps push this version
I love this
It is without a doubt the best version
@@user-nh7iu7sq9o sad to say it is also the only live official release of the song.. ;(
John plays guitar!! 😎
The best!
Energy power 👍
Chief this is just AMAZING! As if it was recorded last year!! And also Power is on the album just dreadful, but live it's a great powerful song!!
this song makes me feel funky xD
This version is a legendary classic. Should have been the album version
Hot space was a great album
I agree 😊
Haters gonna hate
@@electrsaur9095 you don’t understand
If I would have been there I would have been euphoric
because here I am jumping in my chair at the double guitar action and the intensity and the perfection
their energy 💥💥💥💥
2:46 that shit was fire right their freddie Mercury is so legendary
wish this version was the version that’s on the album
Yes 👍🏻 yes This is the best 🔥🔥🔥there is a lot of fire here
And John is a good guitarist
I was there! Love your work, thank you.
I’d forgotten how good this version was , by fuck we’re they tight 👌
Wow...freakin awesome
Master Class!
Great! Thank you!
I love you,my darling ❤❤❤ Freddie

General population: "Hot Space wasn't a great album"
Me: "Ding dong you are wrong."
General population?

Maaaan, they're just ON here!
i cannot stop watching this!! freddie is mesmerising ❤️
The flame that burns twice as bright burns half as long. Queen. Untouchable.
So it’s John all this while doing the slides (1:56 and more..). I’ve always thought it was Brian doing it since Brian always do such random slides and notes to enhance the sound(s) of the song and that it was John playing the main riff..
(Though I know John plays guitar in this song, I just don’t know which parts he play..)
Also, anyone knows if John played guitar in the 1984 Works Tour when this song was still played in the early parts of the tour..
John is playing the same as Brian with a clean sound as opposed to Brian's distortion sound. John is also adding in some rhythm picked on one string and chord. The bass is a synthesiser played by either Morgan Fisher or Spike Edney.
@@themusicman916 Morgan Risher or Fred Mandel. I think it’s Mandel. Spike Edney was just about 1985 ( The South America tour)
Yes, John played guitar on this song on the Works Tour, and had to quickly switch back to bass for Dragon Attack which followed straight afterwards.
Morgan Fisher played synth from Apr-Jun 82 (including this show). Fred Mandel played synth from Jul-Nov 82 and also on The Works Album, and then Spike Edney played from 1984 onwards.
Thanks for uploading high quality videos.
"That doesn't mean we've lost our rock and roll feel, okay, I mean...it's only a bloody record, people get so excited about these things."
Freddie knew how to defuse the situation and remind the fans that they can still rock. I enjoyed hearing the live versions of the Hot Space songs such as Action This Day, Back Chat and Staying Power. Talk about turning lemons into lemonade...
Even though I prefer the album original, mostly for the vocal performance and those horns, this is still killer.
Let me show it to you yeah
See what I got, I got a hell of a lot
Tell me what you feel
Is it real is it real
You know I got what it takes
And I can take a lot
Did you hear the last call baby
You and me got staying power yeah
You and me we got staying power
Staying power (I got it I got it)
I wonder when we're gonna make it
I wonder when we're gonna shake it
Rock me baby rock me
C'mon you can shock me
Let's catch on to the groove
Make it move make it move
You know how to shake that thing
We'll work it work it work it
You and I can play ball baby
You and me got staying power yeah
You and me we got staying power
I wonder when we're gonna make it
I wonder when we're gonna shake it
Fire down below I'm just a regular dynamo
Want some smooth company
Don't lose control just hang on out with me
Got to get to know each other
But we got plenty of time
Did you hear the last call baby
You and me got staying power yeah
You and me we got staying power
Power, power, power...
I wonder when we're gonna stick it
I wonder when we're gonna trick it
Blow baby blow let's get down and go go
Get yourself in the mood
Got to give a little bit of attitude
Baby don't you crash
Let just trash trash trash
Did you hear the last call baby
You and me got staying power yeah
You and me we got staying power
Staying power
Yeah yeah
Gotcha

Hey Chief...you should try working on the KISS video from 1977 Detroit Cobo Hall.
The latest version out there is in pretty decent shape and the audio is good..
I can only imagine how it would look and sound after you got a hold of it🙏🏻
Blasting this at full volume while lifting weights and chewing tobacco.
so cool. The Queen "kings of versatility" title remains.
Heres guapoooo Freddy Mercury te amo ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is heavy
Niente da fare: come teneva lui il palco non lo teneva nessuno 😊
Try listening to this at 0.75 speed, it's killer.
John Deacon playing a Telecaster! Cool! When Hot Space was released I didn't like it at all. Nowadays I love it. It was way ahead of its time but the band paid a high price for trying to make something new and different.
jhon deacon playing guitar
I like Freddie’s outfit and I like Brian’s hair
4:07 Was that his middle finger?
🤔🤔🤔
That is his middle finger 😂
Well done lads. Slightly more Testeosterone-Infused than (Fellow Brits) "Supertramp." (Pass me the Amyl Nitrate, Mate.)
Another performance that was removed from the official Queen channel.😔
2:02 Roger looks mad😂😂😂
Probably because he had to play music from hot space
Does this remaster use the better broadcast audio?

I watched Rolling Stones in Little Rock 1993. O my God. They were just studio musicians, horrible live concert. Queen is the best
Black/Funk category? The music industry REALLY tried to KEEP everybody divided---didn't they? I wonder IF BLACK people thought THIS was "Black Music"? LOVE Queen, but confused by this...I heard the other group members were not as excited about this as Freddie. I applaude their courage to break out of their "norm"
Many people thought Another One Bites the Dust was by a black group.
Hot Space album was Freddie and John’s baby. Roger and Brian weren’t thrilled with it. I think it’s a great album.
