    ★ ABOUT ME ★
Hi I'm Doe, I live in England with my partner and our little jack russell. I make CZcams videos about all the things I love, so you will see a lot of Beatles and Queen related content, music reviews and reactions, vinyl record hauls and unboxings and showing my record collection. Also we are both vegan and love plants and love growing our own food on our allotment and tasting new vegan food. I love art so you will see some creative projects on here as well as fashion, especially from the 50s/60/70s, I love that vintage style. I also vlog from time to time, especially if I'm travelling or showing you parts of England, hiking in the country, out on the motorbike or exploring a medieval castle.

      😄😄😄😄😄🔥
NO ONE would blame you, Hon...
You know there's an "underground" hardcore group of Queen fans out here who swear by the mantra:
"Milton Keynes Bowl Is The HOTTEST Concert EVER" (Thus why it's actually called "Fire At The Bowl"😉)
The VERY BEST versions of these songs are (under the so-called radar) also from Milton Keynes:
      "SOMEBODY TO LOVE"
(Whereas Montreal = performance perfection for the film cameras, Milton Keynes = Uncensored Fun Freddie Bashing Piano Keys WITH HIS BUM)
      "ACTION THIS DAY"
(The ONLY performance on video; a DUET w Roger/Freddie)
      "FAT BOTTOMED GIRLS"
      (FREDDIE. POLE. DANCING.
I honestly DON'T KNOW how you would manage to get thru that one, tho!🤯)
      "PLAY THE GAME"
(MORE of Freddie BEATING UP his poor piano keys😁)
      The Whole Concert Intro:
"HERO"/"WE WILL ROCK YOU" Fast Version
(Freddie running up onto/hanging off the sides of the stage scaffolding, yelling at the crowd)
      AND
The improv where Fred sits on the edge of the stage, announcing "C'mon, I'm gonna teach you how to sing like Aretha Franklin!"🥰

Darling, what you are experiencing is a reaction I have named the "Freddie Effect".
    - I still get it and it can masquerade as heart palpitations, severe shivers and trembling, weeping uncontrollably and other psychosomatic symptoms.
Just an example: Just uploaded a new vid and I had to literally take some meds because the anxiety took over even though I had listened to that particular song all week, due to some errors that occurred during the making.
--So, with that said: Consider yourself normal, the gibbering comes with the territory. 😆

It may surprise you but John was playing a regular Electric Guitar (Fender Telecaster) on this performance. He was providing the clean Rhythm Guitar funky sounds. The Bass (Synth Bass) is played behind the stacks by Spike Edney! He was the guy who provided the biggest part of Queen's Synth/Keyboards layers at Live concerts from 1982 to 1986.
He was 99% behind the scenes, but they did bring him on stage on the Magic Tour to play Rhythm Guitar beside Brian on their Live performance of Hammer to Fall. Check that one out :)

Everybody disses this album, but it has some really EXCELLENT Queen songs on it. This one ROCKS! I mean this is basically Funk-Metal!
Want the ultimate diss bs Queen album , it isn't this one. I would say The Works is oversaturated keyboard:y stashes of shit, with some Brian May gems on them but even those polluted by those damn 80's keyboards. At the time of those albums Queen basically wasn't a band. Freddy was off to Mercury privately, just living the crazy life he had created for himself. A sad one at that.
It was a weird time to be pansexual at that time - it wasn't a coined idea at the time that a person can be what Freddy called "Trysexual, I'll try anything at least once", and Freddy had surrounded himself with slimey vampires who fed off his success and were "yes" sayers to his cocaine-fueled craziness. At that time you had to be basically either-or homo or hetero, and Freddy was surrounded by people who forced him into that superficial, drug addled lifestyle, when he was more which made him very depressed and distanced him from his mates and the first love of his life, Mary, who he loved more than any other human being.
Queen came back after the Live AID performance, and then then the brilliant return to form with "A Kind of Magic".

The bass is not Deaky in this one, it's synth bass by Morgan Fisher. Deaky plays the funky licks and riffs on a Telecaster, there's even a solo duett with Brian, you can hear it, but it's just not shown because why would anyone be interested in John Deacon playing a giutar solo?

Milton Keynes IMO is a much better gig than Montreal, they were in the middle of the Hot Space tour and playing great! This was filmed and originally aired on channel four and released as ”Queen on fire, live at the bowl” in 2007, John deacon is actually playing a Fender Telecaster guitar for that specific song, Morgan Fisher played keyboards and there was NO bass! Great live song, much better than the studio version.

It would be fun to see you react to the series that they posted if Queen. Each episode is a little over 5 minutes and there are 50 of them. Each one is a bit of history of Queen from the beginning to current. I really enjoyed it. Here's a link to the first one. czcams.com/video/avI0iq-fRHQ/video.html
