    We lived in Bend and loved it. Moving back in a year.
    Your getting a trailer..which type? Were looking at nobo..but haven't tried the roof top yet so we will be looking that way first. Thanks for the tour to the Owyhee. In May heading for the ALVORDS!

      We are switching from the rooftop for two reasons. 1st is, once you are setup you can't go anywhere without packing it all up again. 2nd is, We figure it's only a matter of time not if that we injure ourselves on the ladder. When it's wet it can be pretty dicey. Camping in the winter can be a bit cold for another reason. We'll see how it all goes. We certainly don't want to be limited on places that we can get to. Can only think of one place that we've been though and that was a mistake LOL!! Thank you for watching. We pick up our trailer today in Grand Jct CO Woohoo!!

    I think you folks were in Idaho also, or am I wrong? These canyons are beautiful! Great video. I really like the drone footage too.

    Brrrr 16 degrees. Do you have some kind of diesel heater or anything?? The ducks were very sad. Can't wait to see your new trailer, that will be nice!!!

      Yes, That was pretty cold for us. We slept in our clothes, two sleeping bags, dogs, and a couple blankets on top. We did have a Mr. Buddy heater but I almost burst our air mattress with it. It now has a huge bulge in the side. Had to end up holding it on my chest until it heated up in there then turn it off before I fell asleep... Almost did that one time, Wew! The trailer will be nice and is ready to be picked up on Jan 2nd!!! Woohoo, can't wait! Thank you so much for watching!! Love to hear your comments as well. Take care and stay tuned for the upcoming video on picking up our new trailer in Grand Jct. Colorado! :)

    My old stomping grounds from the late 80’s when I worked ranches

      Thank you for watching! We'd love to hear what type of work you did there. We were wondering what the land was used for and what folks did for work there. Such a beautiful land to grow up in we would think. Can't wait to go back. If you have any places you know of to visit, let us know. We'd love to explore them. Glad you enjoyed the video

      I worked cattle and some farming throughout Oregon but that was back in the late 80’s I myself like the baker city area the back roads go for countless miles hells canyon etc it’s all great territory to explore however much private land and as long as you don’t disturbed the livestock the ranches might give you access to their land but as you probably already know Oregon has to much to offer from the coastal area to the high mountains and desert this is why everyone calls it God’s country. Love the videos of our state and it’s awesome to watch you guys explore it .

      @@88rushrocks Thank you so much for watching our videos. It makes us happy you are enjoying them! Yes, Hell's Canyon is on our list for sure. Great tip on the ranchers, so thank you for that. Baker City is an awesome area too. Haven't explored there yet though. Just driven through but love the country side. We only found that one locked gate on that trip. All the other land was open to explore that we traveled on. Sure was remote out there but that's how we like it. Camp grounds are a last resort for us. We hope you have a good safe New Years. We look forward to many more trips in 2024. Cheers and catch you down the road!

      @@woggersoverlandadventures my wife hasn’t been out in that area but hopefully soon . Just got her the 2024 4xe Willy’s will actually it’s got 10,000 miles on it now it’s a blast to drive so it hasn’t sat around that much lol since it had 8 miles on it when we bought it lol and now we can’t wait to explore as you guys are doing.

      @@88rushrocks That's awesome on the new Jeep! Congrats to you both. It's great to have a partner that loves going out there too. Not near as much fun riding alone even when with a group which we have rarely done yet. Happy for you both!!

    There was a day when they used native americans for target practice. Strange but true. Whats three ducks?

    • @woggersoverlandadventures
      @woggersoverlandadventures  Před 2 měsíci

      I presume the ducks were from hunters due to the breast meat having been removed. Would have been nice though not to leave them under a rock in and popular camping area. Thank you for watching!
