Great tutorial ka aknayab, basta pinoy maabilidad. Ganiyan din ako mahilig mag DIY. Looking forward for the next tutorial on how to change the filter. Thank you for sharing. L15.
Thank you for the video. Not sure what mileage you do this at? Definitely was black looking fluid. I have a 2016 Kia Soul and don't know the history of changes and the local Kia dealers said a full flush of fluid could cause slipping in the transmission and they would not do a partial. Thinking of doing a little at a time with a pump. One improvement you could do is to show how you find the upper fill bolt. I think there is a side bolt for level of fluid too. Not needed in what your doing.
Thanks for the video; how many quarts did it take? Just trying to figure out how many to buy before starting the fluid change. It looks like about 3 or 4 quarts?
Old fluid was very dirty. I think we need to change every 30k miles (I I know that Kia recommends changing for the first time at mileage 60). I have Kia forte 31k millage and I'm thinking to change it already
Your absolutely right. It will be more beneficial if you do it early. I'm planning to do it again when it reach 80,000 miles. Thank you for watching and have a wonderful day ahead!
Does your Forte, have the IVT/CVT transmission? Here in south africa we get the CVT/IVT in the Hyundai Creta/Kia Sonet/Hyundai Kona, HOWEVER the manual states 90000km, the cars come with a 5year Unlimmited Km warranty, I would also do it early if i could. However if you DIY it while under factory warranty they will certainly void the warranty if found to have been worked on them other than agents, we do get a 4Year 60000km service plan, so in my case i dont drive that much so if i still have the car i would do it as soon as out of warranty. Will be way less than 90000km/60000miles. They mad i wouldnt wait 90000km to change CVT oil, nor even normal ATF. I had to change my mothers Picanto ATF 3times at 90000km to get it clean that car has a normal Automatic transmission HOWEVER it does have a ATF FILTER, The 3rd time i did it. I removed the transmission pan and changed the atf filter aswell, im not sure if the CVT / IVT has a filter aswell maby you should look up on it, very simple to do.

I've done lots of research and up to now I'm not getting any info on the filter location. Hope to find one sooner because I have 10k left before the fluid needs to be change. Thanks for watching and enjoy the day my friend.
There's a filter but unfortunately it is very difficult to replace and maybe only the dealer can do it. Thank you for watching and have a wonderful day ahead.

Very good video. Can you make a video of changing the transmission filter when you do it?
Thank you for watching and I'll make a video once I do it. Have a good day ahead.
I'm curious about at what mileage you changed it at and what mileage you think it benefits from a change? Very helpful video!!
I changed the CVT fluid around 60,000 miles and will do the next after 30,000 or 40,000 miles. Have a good one and thank you for watching!
Great video. Do you think would be same process on 2021 soul?
I'm not familiar with the 2021 Kia, but it should be the same. Thank you for watching!
Thanks for the video; how many quarts did it take? Just trying to figure out how many to buy before starting the fluid change. It looks like about 3 or 4 quarts?
Did you figure it out? Lol
Between 4 or 5 qts for kias
Hello Did you change the drain plug crush washer? If so do you know what the part number is?

Hello. Why you dont change oil filter in transmision? Or there is no filter?
It's difficult to reach the transmission filter, so my plan is to change the fluid as often as possible. Thank for watching and have a good day ahead.
Is this the same process on a 2019 Kia Forte LXS?
Thank you for watching the video. I have no knowledge in regards to Kia Forte LXS but this link is for a 2017 forte on transmission fluid change

How many quarts of fluid did you put back in? So i can go buy the right amount at the dealership.
I purchase 5 quarts. Just be sure to measure what you drain out and put back the same amount! Thanks for watching and good luck on your project.
Thank you so much!

Why didnt you change the cvt filter?
I've done lots of research and up to now I'm not getting any info on the filter location. Hope to find one sooner because I have 10k left before the fluid needs to be change. Thanks for watching and enjoy the day my friend.
Is there a transmission filter for kia soul 2019?how much roughly does it cost?
There's a filter but unfortunately it is very difficult to replace and maybe only the dealer can do it. Thank you for watching and have a wonderful day ahead.
@@lologroovydiy Hello groovy. I ask the mechanic at kia they said there no transmission filter but only a screen is that true?
@@rcrotorfreak There's a screen filter and not a cloth type. That's why I will be changing the fluid every 35-40 thousand miles.
