I want to get into more intuitive art. I feel like I have to plan/overthink everything to the point where I plan so much that I’ve moved on from that project or I do it but it doesn’t match the “plan” I’ve made. In both art and life I do this and I’m trying to let go of the mindset that I have to plan every single thing to be successful.

This made me realize I have always been kind of afraid to do this? After graduating from a fine arts degree many years ago now, it took away a lot from me in that I always wanted the end result to look good and be perfect. And I always judge my work harshly. I would perceive myself to be the worst artist in the class, and my grades reflected that LOL. I stopped doing art at all for many years after, only picking it up again during covid. Since then It has been a really different experience, and I am rediscovering what I loved about painting in the first place. I am going to try this tonight! Thank you for sharing

Hullo Alice, I do enjoy this type of video from you! I have recently found another Artist "Irit Landgraf" she is over in Austria and uses a lot of brighter colors, so much more than I do. I think you might like her too. She like the Neocolor sticks from Caran DAche!
