I love this tutorial Joy... it has really opened up a new way of looking at my creativity pattern which is currently stuck in Painting Without Purpose😟 I now have a new vision and goal. I am a keen collage artist and want to start making my own papers and am sure I could use this process. And Ive always avoided those bright fluoro colours...what have i been missing! Enjoyed watching this. I am really new to thinking about abstracts. I have been playing with watercolor for a couple of years. Can you effectively do abstract with watercolor?
Yes absolutely! You can get some wonderful effects with watercolour, and you can draw underneath and on top of it to get different textures! Have fun! 🖌️🎨😊

What pencils are you using, regular colored pencils don’t work on top of acrylic paint so I’m assuming ur using chalk pastel pencils
The crayons are stabilo and Chinese markers. As a tip if you use transparent gesso over your painting you can use ordinary crayons. Enjoy 😊🎨🖌️
This is gorgeous! What is the name of the orange color that you’re using? I tried listening again and I don’t know if I miss heard you. I tried looking up Dayglow Orange, but there is no listing for that color. Thank you!
Hi The colour is Liquitex Basics Acrylic Fluorescent Orange. It's a fabulous colour isn't it! And it's great to mix with other colours and also use as a glaze. 😊

Joy, fabulous instructions! Truly the best I've found on CZcams. Which Stabilo pencils are you using? I found the Woody and Aquacolor on Amazon and others, but unsure of which one you recommend Thanks for any insight!

Is your sponge wet, and do you use a glazing medium?
Thanks for your questions. The sponge is damp and I just used water. You can use different mediums, however, I just use water to begin with. 😊
