Scarlet and Violet may look shit as hell and it's really an audacity to bring them out like this but the DLC gave me my favorite Pokémon character of all time.
Also did you ever play Red and Blue? This is also a hell of a buggy game too! Yes I am in the boat since Gen 1

Unfortunately, though, it's because of all the issues that I had with Scarlet and Violet that I'm more than likely not going to be picking up any new Pokémon games, including Pokémon legends Z-A. I've been playing the main series Pokémon games since 2004 and Pokémon Scarlet and Violet were the only 2 that have given me issues. Unfortunately even after 6 update patches Pokémon Violet was still unplayable but Pokémon Scarlet was mostly fixed by the 4th update patch. I've been mostly playing older Pokémon games since December 2022. I would like to see how many copies were returned or refunded because of the issues with Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. But that might be asking for too much.
@jopjinxofpurple These are the following problems that everyone has been complaining about since November 2022:
1. Severe lag glitche.
2. If you connected to the internet via the Poke portal, your save file had a 30% chance to be corrupt, and you would have to delete your save file.
3. Both scarlet and violet had a 50% chance to do a force quit while you were either mid save or mid game.
4. The following error codes would show up when you booted up either scarlet or violet: 2-ALZYA-0008 or 2-ALZXA-0008
Yet again, for my own personal, playthrough experience, the following 4 problems were never fixed for both my Pokémon violet games. Only 3 of the 4 problems were fixed on my both Pokémon scarlet games by the 4th update patch.

Yeah. They aren’t that bad. No reason to yap about why the rest of the series is destined to be bad. The games will most likely be better. Sword and shield were bad but legends was a lot better
@WyattStone-lx5wc I never said that any future Pokémonin stallments would be released destined to be bad. What I said in my original post was that I'm not picking up any future Pokémon games because of the problems with scarlet and violet.
@@WyattStone-lx5wc I'm assuming that you haven't played Pokémon sword or shield to make a fair comparison to Pokémon scarlet and violet.
