Minnesota needs to create a winning culture, like hiring so competent GM or Coach. They reach the playoffs with Thibs as a coach not because of their talent, but because Thibs leadership and winning culture. The last 20 years they have drafted pretty talented and generational players, but having the worst culture in the NBA have put them in a situation where it doesnt matter if they draft the best generational player from the draft in back to back drafts, they still gonna lose because they don't think like winners. (Uuuuuhh, so Wiggins, Lavine and KAT are talented and even generational talented players and still the T-Wolves didn't reach the playoffs???. That's definitely fault of the T-Wolves franchise, not their players). They need to hire a coach like Billy Donovan or Atkinson ASAP and the miracle will happen.

As a life time Wolves fan, these are all valid point, but I feel the biggest contributor to failure so far has been INJURIES, and that wasn't highlighted enough. Knee problems plagued Terrell Brandon when he was supposed to be our up and coming star with KG. When Sammy C and Sprewell joined, all our PG literally got hurt before the WCF against the Lakers (KG played a lot of Point Guard FYI). Next year, Sprewell loses his mind and doesn't report to the team, Casell AGAIN gets hurt. Both are too old to retain at this point, so we move on. We draft a super athletic guard with a promising future in Rashad McCant. Guess what happened? Career ending knee surgery. When we had Love, we actually built a really solid core of a young Rubio (pre-injury he was legit), Love, and Pekovic. Rubio got injured. Then Love. Then Pek. I think the 3 of them saw a total of like...15 games together on the court. Fast forward to now. We finally have 2 players who could be franchise cornerstones in Towns and DLo. Guess what? They've played a grand total of 3 games due to injuries.
So yeah...I know injuries usually aren't a legit excuse, but this franchise not only sucks but is terribly cursed. I'm talking voodoo shit that needs only happens in movies cause no way a franchise has this bad luck. Now once again, Wolves are nearing a cross road where a decision is coming if we want to break up our core but we don't even know how good they could be due to injuries.
