    Really nice. Doing 6.67 sec with 184hp and 1.5 tons of weight is outstanding. Sadly somewhere about 130kmh + the electro engine turns off and immediantly the fast speeding up slows down. But nvm, for my opinion 80-120 is the most important part

      No, full acceleration 0-160 km/h is done on electric motor - the combustion engine and battery providing the juice. On 2th run at 155km/h the battery was empty, so then the juice only comes from combustion engine and indeed less power.
      The civic can switch to direct drive on combustion engine, but only on constant speeds around 120-140km/h. For fast accelerations, it switched back to electric motor.

      When the battery runs out, does the engine stall or lag in order to charge the battery? If it does means it's not able to main the speed of 160 and above?

    How did you start the second run 0- 100 without the artificial gear shifting?

    • @rafawojcik3011
      @rafawojcik3011 Před rokem +7

      Kind of hidden 'launch control', on mine I put it in 'sport', turn off ESP and push break and gas pedal fully, after around 2 seconds I release break still holding gas fully and it switches fake shifts off, slightly better acceleration, but would not recommend to do it often as it's not officially mentioned.

      @@rafawojcik3011it can be done all day. Electric motors are basically indestructible, there is no CVT or traditional transmission in this car.
