- What an AMAZING day we had exploring Hoi An! This charming little town is filled with lanterns, colourful buildings and so much insanely delicious food we can hardly contain ourselves. We spent a full day biking around doing everything imaginable! Our day started with eating one of the best Banh Mi’s we’ve ever had, visiting a local market, and of course enjoying some local Vietnamese coffee! Last minute we decided to grab our swimsuits and head to one of the most beautiful beaches in the area (taking a quick stop at the vegetable garden). Come along with us on this perfect day and don’t forget to subscribe so you don’t miss these wild Vietnam adventures!

Yes I will buy some fruit from Shells. I could hear the crunch from the Banh Mi. Absolutely a must visit for me. When I finally go I will stay across from this river for the amazing night lights, colors and lanterns. Excellent from the moment it started until the moment it ended.
Yay! Maybe I should quit my day job to sell fruit? 😂😉 the banh mis bread was so crispy and delicious!! Can’t wait for you to experience it like we did! ♥️ happy you enjoyed.

Your video made me misss my country a lots, thanks ❤
Of course! Hopefully you can feel like you are travelling right along side us 💕
Salt coffee is my favorite coffee. The salty cream on top is made by whisking the fresh milk with whipping cream and little condense milk as optional. Under the salty cream, there are two layers: coffee and fresh milk. I love this kind of coffee very much since you can have fun and joy by playing with different way of drinking it, i.e stirring the whole thing up or just keep the top salt cream and string a little bit the two bottom layers. I prefer that latter since it give you more texture and tastes.
I'm on my way now to get the banh mi sandwich indeed 😊 I'm craving, God bless you guys and please stay safe and healthy 😊
Yay! We hope you enjoy it, they are so yummy! 😍 thank you! Have a lovely day.
Great pictures and good editing... well done to you both. I particually like it when Shelbs is eating because then she has to stop talking. !!!!. 🙏🙏🙏🙏Max.
Hoi An is surprisingly chill. Those streets remind me of Vigan, sadly you haven't been but next time you will. That bike ride was so convenient oh my goodness, I do hope it isn't as scorching hot in Vietnam as most parts in the Philippines, I can't get over the scenery though, it's like a flower festival all year long. Wow, such a spectacular place, colorful yet serene and chill. Perfect for a holiday! #Team4KForChaseAndShelbs
We came during a festival so it was crazy busy!! 😂 but after the festival was over it was quiet and chill and really lovely! Sadly it was insanely hot! The hottest place we have been so we made sure to drink a lot of water. 🤪
Vigan? Haha lyo po ang ganda ng hoi an at ang laki! Kilala sa buong mundo yan
Vietnam is divided into 3 regions including North, Central and South. The climate will be divided into 2, from the north to Da Nang there will be 4 seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter (winter in some places with snow). From Hoi An back to the South, the climate will be similar to that of Southeast Asian countries with rainy and dry seasons. Vietnam is always diverse from climate, scenery, people and culture so you will not be bored. Welcome to Vietnam
Shelbs is always fun to watch... Specially with her riding the bicycle...
Aw hahaha!! Thank you! I used to be good but I haven’t rode in so long 😂
You two look cute and happy big smiles on your face. Welcome to Vietnam!
You are so sweet thank you! We were very happy indeed and vietnam is great 😊
Thank you guys i love ít 👍👍👍
very good video.
Thank you very much!
You guys soo cool ❤
Shelbs, your the sexiest foreigner vietnamese looking person carrying those selling stuff. 🥰 The Bahn mi looks yummy.
Omg hahaha why thank you so much! 😂👏🏼 maybe I should quit CZcams to sell fruit full time lol! The banh mis were so delicious!!
I saw that you ate snails in Hoi An and they really do! It's just a bit hard to find if you're not able to communicate with the people, but if you used a translator and asked someone in hoi an they will most likely know a great place. The small ones are so good and so many different flavors! Coconut milk kind, lemon grass kind, and etc.
You can find it easily in Saigon!
I miss Vietnam and their food so much.
Banh Cam. Its fried doe with mung bean inside outside coated with sesame seeds. Its a very popular.
3:07, if you've never tried the purple fruit, you can try it, it taste good.
Mangosteen! We have it’s incredible!
Great video! Planning a trip to Hoi An in a few months. Where do you recommend renting a bicycle from?
Thank you! They have the bicycle rentals everywhere! 😊 a lot of the hotels/home stays rent then as well as it’s a popular thing to do!
Our Banh Mi in Toronto are thinly sliced beef, you're lucky they are a big chunk of meat. In that basket besides the rambutan that purple fruit is the best fruit you can eat in Asia. It is called Mangosteen. The shell is hard, you have to use a knife to open it and the seeds are covered with cotton like. It's medicinal fruit and tastes so good.
That’s too bad.. Canada was like that too. Very skimpy haha. But yes we have had mangosteen before.. they are incredible 😍
I like the banh mi bread in Vietnam.banh mi bread in Toronto are too chewy.
@@ChaseandShelbs The banh mi you had is vegetarian banh mi. The meats are actually made from tofu and flour. This place is vegetarian restaurant
Wow Hoi An VN👌👍❤️🇻🇳
So nice 😍
*WELCOME TO VIỆT NAM 🇻🇳❤️🇻🇳*
Woohoo! Thanks 😃
Just curious when they are gonna change that bike seat or use it to stash prophenilia 08:40
I think you should visit Ho Chi Minh City and try Goi cuon, Bun bo hue, seafood
We would love to sometime! Maybe not in the rainy season though 🙊
The food basket called " Don Ganh".
you can buy "pate" in hamerica or le canada ..
How do you make your thumbnails so bright and color popping? it looks so nice
We edit them in photopea 😊 just takes some practise!
Hoi An is beautiful
It sure is ♥️
I'm not sure if u guys know this.
The snail u ate is the river snail and there are many different types of them. It is similar to mussel, oyster, etc live in the sea but instead, they live in the river.
They are not the snail that crawls and has 2 eyes on it :v (All of my UK friends thought snail is this one)
Tuyệt vời
Nice video as usual. in Hoi An there is a banh mi shop where late Anthony Bourdain from CNN recommanded for those who like banh mi. He has been with former President Obama to eat bun cha in Hanoi. Be safe. From Paris, France
Aw thank you 💕 That is so cool! Next time we will have to check it out. 😊
Good food
What's been difficult when I travelled Asia was the communication. I had to repeat what I just said and do some hand gestures to help me out to make people grasp of what I intend to say. But, the beauty of every country was so aesthetic that people will surely love and astound.
Been a while my friends. How have you been lately? Take care guys as always. ❤️👍🇵🇭🇺🇸
It makes it challenging for sure but is also a funny experience as sometimes my translator gets very confused 😂 but regardless we enjoy trying to chat with the locals and learn more about where we are and the culture 🥰we are so good! Focusing on being healthy and doing what we love! Travelling and making videos. Hope you are well ♥️
@@ChaseandShelbs
Yup. Am good. It's just that... Feeling exhausted from a few days of interstate road trip. ❤️
Video thật đẹp ❤️
Thank you so much, you are too kind ♥️
from Viet Nam with love ❤❤❤
♥️♥️
Hello guys, thank ypu for your videos..wanna know if you guys completed some vaccinations like ywllow fever, hepa, and malaria in particular before going to vietnam.? Thanks
We only got hep A,B, & C, typhoid, and tetanus but that’s it! We recommend you do your research and talk with your doctor. 😊
@@ChaseandShelbs thanks
Hoi Hoi!
you can not cap size a ball that's why those boat are round and people work in them, and in the river they use skinny long tail boat for speed lest drag so small engine can push up to speed
Ah that makes sense.
OMG! I think Shelbs is missing durian in that thing 03:04
That would be hilarious haha a big durian! 😂😉
❤❤
That is Vietnam, you got to go GeForce it don’t hesitate. The street seems lawless but it's ordering. You have to go with the flow like energy, don't stop.
1:23 it is not pate, it is "nem" or "chả", a kind of vietnamese sausage.
Oh thank you!! 🙏🏼
Would you say google maps are pretty accurate getting around Vietnam? And are there gas stations accessible?
Yeah we use it for everything 😊 yes gas stations are accessible! Though we didn’t ride a bike or rent a car there.
Riding around with motorbike is a different reality.
vietnamese pepole very friendly and welcome with foreigns
I know that former Vietnam vets have moved to Vietnam. Living there has brought some peace to these broken men who were used and broken by the powers who forced them to take part in the horrors of war. Sounds like a good place to relocated for many Americans as the US continues to devolve into hell.
💖💖👍👍👌👌
Tip for crossing street in Vietnam:
Many tourist foreigners scared of traffic in VN . Don’t worry about it! The rule to win this fear is keep routin slowly walking when you across the streams of motobike! motor-bykers knows how to avoid you themself in chaos-order! remmember do not runs and stop suddently , accident immidiatly ! Don’t be affraid of and do it if you want to be safety in the crazy- traffic in Vietnam.
This is super helpful! Thank you 🥰 it can be daunting crossing the street but you are right! It’s better to be calm so no accidents happen ♥️
Banh mi Phuong in Hoi An is famous
We will have to try next time! 😊
Bravo!
❤️🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳❤️
Just a heads up, that banh mi you guys ate is vegetarian. “Chay” means vegetarian in Vietnamese. Safe travels 👍
We had no idea!!
Was this before the typhoon or after the typhoon?
The video was filmed on July 3rd, 2022!
🤤
How much did the fruit lady charge you to take pics with her fruit basket ?
Nothing at all 😊 she was just being friendly!
2 bạn mua nhầm bánh mỳ chay😂😂
Cảm ơn bạn đã đến Việt Nam chúng tôi nhé
You’re welcome. Thank YOU! For the support and for watching 🥰
I think the banh mi place ya got were vegetarian, they made the “meat” out from tofu I believe 🥰 because the store name is “banh mi chay” means vegetarian banh mi.
We aren’t sure! Maybe!? But alot of the stalls said “vegetarian banh mi bread” but maybe ours was!? Now we aren’t sure hehe
@@ChaseandShelbs it is actually, anything with "chay" at the end is vegetarian fyi
One north american mentioned putting a pinch of salt. I forgot who.
I wonder.. that person will be my best friend lol! It’s the best
have you seen this
You had vegan Banh Mi…only vesgies and no meat 😮
No it’s only vegan bread I suppose they market that often for vegans lol! It was a meat one! 😂😍👏🏼
@@ChaseandShelbs That's vegan Banh Mi, believe me, I'm a Hoianese. =))
Because mahayana buddhism has taken a deep root in Vietnam for thousands of years, local people have centuries for inventing vegan food that taste just like meat, perfecting if generations after generations (with some help from modern technology, of couse). The slice of sausage that you took out is Chả chay, vegan Vietnamese sausage made from soybean protein. Other meat-like items in that Banh Mi are made from soybean, mung bean, rice and wheat protein. Impossible™ burger, compared to the rich, centuries-old vegan cuisine of local people, is just a newbie. =))
The slogan on the Banh Mi stall means "Go vegan to save the environment".
The banh mi place says it’s vegetarian banh mi
We didn’t even realize it was vegetarian!!! 🤩
You come in and eat a vegetarian sandwich for vegetarians who follow Buddhism or are vegetarians who don't eat meat, and the dish is made from soybeans, vegetables, and mushrooms of each other.
หวังว่าคุณจะมาเที่ยวที่ประเทศไทยอีกครั้ง
We are coming back very soon! ;) ♥️
That banh mi was veggie. Chay is vegetarian in vietnamese
Omg we had no idea!! We couldn’t even tell!
I don't think there's any meat in those banh mi you guys ate. The sign at the shop says vegetarian.
We didn’t even realize! But you are right 😂
@@ChaseandShelbs I've never had vegetarian food from VN, but I heard that they made it such that it tastes so much like meat. You guys proved it out. Most likely, it's tofu. See if you can find vegetarian bacon over there; that would be the ultimate win for me: all of the taste and none of the fat.
Basing on what I'm watching,Vietnam looks like the Philippines.
They are similar in different ways but both amazing places!
Your first banh mi location is vegetarian. No meat.
welcome to my Ca Mau City, a city of Shrimp and Crab , if you can come here i invite you eat shrip and crad, no need to pay…
That is so kind ♥️ thank you!
Xin Chào haha
Hi hiiiii! Hehe
How much u pay for the fruit pic ☺️
that's a vegetarian banh mi guys.
Thanks for letting us know! We had no idea!!
Any time you see the word CHAY, it means vegetarian.
That’s awesome! We never new that!! Thank you 😊
Vietnam beaches aren't very steep. you can go out real far and the water is only at your waist.
Don't worry, you can leave your stuff at the beach. No one will touch it. Asia is safe.
We were told not to leave our stuff ever in the Philippines! Not everyone can be trusted sadly :(
@@ChaseandShelbs Japan, Korea and Singapore it should be okay. Vietnam too. There's more poverty in the Philippines so maybe less so there if you're in Manila, but the resorts like Boracay should be fine. I've been to Phuket, Boracay, Hoi An beaches and have left my big backpack on a crowded beach while swimming and no one touched it.
I thought Philippines ...just kidding...
Hahaha
It is not a small boat. It's a bamboo basket. In the 20th century, the French invaded Vietnam, they taxed boats very high, making fishermen unable to live. They came up with it because it couldn't be called a boat. It is passed on as a cultural trait.😅😅😅
Wow that is so cool!! Thank you for sharing that with us 😃
you leave the Philippines, the number of views will go down, lol, that's why foreigners stick or return ( Example: Juicy Vlog)
That’s okay! We will be back but our main goal is to be able to showcase and travel other parts of the world, not just focus on places that the views give us 😊
@@ChaseandShelbs but your bottom line will significantly be affected. You don't want to resort to just eating street foods in other country because of reduced income. Otherwise keep sticking that Philippine flag in your thumbnail to lure viewers but eventually they will catch up. LOL
@@jwilsonbb5684 Maybe they are there for the experience and not just to play it up to Filipino viewership. Or maybe they want to visit other countries where the food, violent crime rate, sex industry, etc., may all be better.
That banh mi is vegan ? Unbelievable
No just the bread is! I’m not sure why they market it this way? 🤪 but rest assured it had all the meat lol!!
They’re pretending that they like what they’re doing.
We do like what we are doing! Our day was epic 😂
🤔 you guys seem to just eat on all your blogs.. how about less food blogs and more of the beautiful places.... secondly take multivitamins instead of eating anything and everything you'll have better strength and clarity. ... ✌ Derrick NYC
There are plenty of channels that just explore! A huge part of travel is experiencing all the local food and that probably won’t change for us! Thank you we appreciate the tip! 😊
