what is needed is to be taught to the student is that they need to treat the Simulation Mannequins as if they are live patient. there is a mannequin with their gown up over they hips on the other bed. respect of the patients privacy and dignity should be the first thing taught even if it looks like a over size doll.
Was looking up devices that might help with a wound on a patient and stumbled on an image from here, all I could think was I am sure that was my nursing instructor from school. Sure enough, yep, it was, and this video was posted while I was in school. So all your comments on she needs to do this or that. I promise you, she knows, she would ding us for all that stuff. Not the um, alright, ok stuff this was an informal video, or the lube not lubricant, you’re about to physical touch a patients butt hole, I doubt the patients are thinking, “it’s lubricant not lube” if that’s all you got keep moving. great demo. your camera has your chest as the focal point for a large part of it, though. Not sure you meant to do that. It would better if the focal point was your hands.

I find the simulation mannequins do not help at all. I would prefer to have a real person and that pretend cup.
