Like a master musician knowing the wrongest note to hit in every moment, absolute perfection.
You ever watch Henry Phillips? Or more specifically, his cooking show/videos, "Henry's kitchen?" (All here on CZcams) He's like that with cooking. Making the absolute WORST move/decision possible, every time. So much so, I genuinely question whether or not he's actually really good in the kitchen, because how tf did he know to something so wrong/poorly, unless he actually knows what he's doing. Shit's funny as fucking hell, though. He played "John" the dude in the server farm basement in silicon valley("this is where your box will go...")or who Gilfoy ALMOST befriended, in the last season. Basically, I highly recommend checking it out.

His hunor is specific and niche and not for everyone but just as a performer, I don't hear enough about how good he is. Everyone knows he is hilarious but he's also just a very good actor and that part doesn't get enough credit, IMO.

Genuinely might be the best "in the game" at it. I remember when he called/Zoomed into Sam Seder's show. That was, sadly, my first exposure to him. For the first 10-15 mins, I thought he was being completely literal. His subtly is unmatched. Came from the Philly area (roughly) too, which makes it even cooler. H/t to the master, Mr. Heidecker. _(Or should I say... Ms. Heidecker with his lesbian haircut, amirite?!?!)_

This whole thing is a masterpiece, both as satire and as a rich, nuanced character study of a monster. Fred Armisen was titanic in the straight-man role.

This is so God dang clever and perfect. Tim stretching his legs all the way out, forcing Fred to pull his back at an uncomfortable angle was hilarious! And Tim putting his shoes up on the chair, getting them too close to Fred's hand for just a second was really funny too

Tim is an incredibly underrated comedian. The guy applies his comedy in so many different ways. He's really skillfull.
What I love about Mr Armisen is he can talk to people from all walks of life and share his intelligence without sounding condescending.

As a long time listener to club random, this is absolutely chef’s kiss. So many nuances that show how well Tim did his homework and Fred is absolutely perfect as the guest who’s increasing having to listen to Maher’s old man drunken ranting
