It looks like a really fun game but, €22,50 is a bit steep for a 5 hour - let’s say 10 hour game. I will pick it up if it goes somewhere near the 10 euro.

I have my own little black panther too. His name is Midnight. When I saw the trailer I just knew I had to get it. When Midnight was younger he accidentally got out of our house and was on his own for 7 days. It was one of the worse weeks I've ever experienced. Thankfully and fortunately for us, he was able to find our home and he came back into our lives. The set-up hits so close to the heart. Can't wait to download it and play it.
Cats are a royal pain. I still like them though. Years ago, I had a cat named 'M'. She would always sleep on the shelf over the tv, and she would always fall off while sleeping.
One day, I got tired of this, so I took the shelf down and set it next to me on the couch.
She jumped on the couch, stood on the shelf and pissed all over it . She stared at me while doing it. She then walked away and looked at me one more time. Gotta love them.
Having a cat is basically like being in a mildly abusive relationship with your pet.

Downloaded this immediately on release! My two sons have been crying out for a sequel to Untitled Goose Game for a long time and this has absolutely nailed it. Much kinder-spirited than Goose Game, but absolutely has that same sense of emergent fun that dials into how kids brains see the world! Love it!
This is the review I was waiting for. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go download this adorable cat game.

This void sure acts like my orange! Fun looking game and lovely video. The bugs worry me a bit and the price seems a bit steep for the time but I love cats so this is very tempting. Thanks for the great review and showing us Switch Up's own void.
The bugs are rare and they're currently working on patching those up per their own social media. The price is good though... comparing the length to Untitled Goose Game, which is largely spent in a much smaller area is a little disingenuous. You can rush through that game as well, if you skip all the little side adventures and it's not nearly as big or detailed (and I LOVED Untitled Goose Game).
It's been a hoot to play, definitely recommended!

Another game on my radar that you guys reviewed right on time. Love it! I'm glad to hear that the game delivers on what it seemingly promised. It's nice to hear that it doesn't overstay its welcome, even if the primary story can be completed in a short time. I've always been a "cat guy" so any game that nails the look and feel of their shenanigans is a win to me! Stray by BlueTwelve Studio on the Xbox was a lot of fun and really clever, and Little Kitty, Big City sounds like it does a lot of the same things but improves upon it on some ways (like jump control).

At least I like to know this. And I agree with your daughter about not caring about performance when I can play as a silly cat 😸. (tho of course I'd rather know if the game is unplayable. Untitled Goose Game is one of my daughters favourite games and we had a great time playing that so I was looking forward to this. Shame its so short though. Hopefully they'll be dlc?

Looks like a fun game for on holiday. Just walking about a bit through a city, after you've done it yourself for a whole day. Some relaxing in your hotel room and just let kitty out. Another one for the wishlist.

The environment is such a cartoonish version of Japan, a mix of city and backwood towns. The alleys, the people, the absurd amount of vending machines… I know a lot of people, Glen included, compared it to Untitled Goose Game but this is a lot more whimsical and not as… evil as the goose game gets to at parts.
Really appreciate this review. This is going to be a great game for my 8 year old, and even better for my wallet when I pick it up for them at 50 per cent off in a few months
Octodad meets Untitled Goose Game with Cats in Little Kitty Big City. Looks like fun little jaunt in creating a some mayhem and mess in the unsuspecting human's world... just a normal cat day lol. Been looking forward to this review, thanks Mark! It may make it into my backlog but for now I'll keep my funds reserved for what is to come for the last few months of the Switch's life in 2024. I'm not usually into cozy games, especially since I have so many mainstream games to play but I picked this up and have been on it all day. Super cute game and a lot of fun. Happy to see it being well received 🐱

I only had time to spend about 2 hours on this game today, but so far I have been loving it! Especially swiping down pots and tripping people! A lot of people say it's got Untitled Goose Game vibes, and that's absolutely true. But I already feel that there's a lot more to this game than UGG. Highly recommended if you're looking for a cute, fun and cozy game!

My non-gamer wife and 9 year old daughter, both of whom I have to always convince to try games with me, are very excited about this. Having all enjoyed goose game together and both of them being really into cats, this seems like a slam dunk! Can't wait to pick it up... for them of course.... I will... erm... supervise!

I’m very curious if the devs will expand this game somewhat, provided it sells well. It’d be fun to get a couple extra city blocks and some extra side content in the future! Loving it so far.
My kids have been counting down the days for this one! I must say that I am enjoying it myself! We all loved the Untitled Goose Game, so this one has a very similar feel of being a cute mischievous creature roaming the town. I am having some issues with being able to press the A button to select quests though (on switch). Is anyone else having that same issue?

Honestly you had me sold on it when you said it's the same team that made untile goose game. Honestly at this point I'm sold that they're a top tier animal themed game devs. With that said I might wait for a sale.

I might get this game, but I would’ve preferred a physical release.
I think what attracts me the most is that it's an open-world RPG that isn't something cute, trapped in a bleak or ominous environment. Nor is it clunky for the sake of silliness or irony, like Goat and Goose.
The only thing I wish it offered were customization options, like skins or eye color. Beyond that, it looks like it could be my new quintessential cozy game.

Looks a lovely game, my niece recently got her first console so I am always on the look out for a good kids game that doesn't require to have a phd in English to enjoy as a none English speaker. Hope this game is on Xbox.

I didn't even know this game existed. I literally just bought it right after finishing watching this video.
I was always curious if they would ever attempt to port Stray to the switch because I think it's such a cozy little game that would have fit well
But honestly this is better because it's something I haven't played yet. Having untitled goose game as the inspiration for it and overall vibe to it is also a great choice. Although you get to kind of just play as an animal a bit more curious and mischievous compared to that goose who was just kind of an asshole 😂
It's late here so I only got to play it for maybe 15 minutes or so but I already know I'm going to enjoy the heck out of booting this up.
