Little Kitty, Big City is an undeniably cozy and mechanically minimal game tailor-made for cat lovers. Its small but inviting sandbox can provide a few hours of ticking objectives off a list before any repetition sets in, allowing this feline adventure to stretch its exploratory legs before wearing out its welcome. Its graphics are cute and delightful, especially for people who just like to watch their pets leap into boxes or trot along when they realize they are not supposed to be in the kitchen. What’s missing are a few layers of polish on its movement and camera controls, which can make climbing around this city more frustrating than it needs to be. And while the campaign may be brief, being a street-level cat discovering the world a few blocks at a time easily holds up across it.

For everyone comparing it to Stray, the only thing it really has in common is playing as a cat. The gameplay, vibe, structure, feel, etc are all closer to Goose Game.

Well they compare it to Stray cause the platforming is similar, and its one of the only games where you can play as a cat

My 9yr old daughter is playing this now and loves it. A cute little game with humour, puzzles, and most importantly for her, cats.
This game is perfect for kids

Yeah seem like could be a bit longer. And more polish for controls. But still going get for switch later. But do agree has untitled goose game feeling or vibes.
It's very charming. It will also take way longer than 1-2 hours. There's a lot of "side quests" to complete. It's a nice relaxing game.
1 or 2 hours of gameplay makes this game a hard pass until it’s on a major sale for me. Even stray was longer than that.
Its on gamepass which made it palatable. But it is short.

It's a game fitting for kids. "Stray" catches the mature player through its story, which was an allegory about human nature. The cat in "Stray" was the way to introduce a new perspective into exploring this allegorical world. This game seems to be a simple arcade game without an additional layer.
Perfect mix between a short hike and goose game, short but really fun

It is pretty steep if you can beat it under a few hours, sure there is side content, but that will all depend on how interesting it is in the end.

What is it with these cat games sending it's main feline characters plummeting from great heights? Maybe they can do a cat game next, Homeward Bound style, instead of dropping our kitty friends from 20 feet in the air.
That's.... actually a great idea. A sort of linear adventure where you travel across everything from plains, to caves, to forests, get across rivers, get through part of a city... all to get home to your family that you were separated from in an accident.

There are about 42 unlockable hats,but sadly no different coats of fur,or other customization etc.

@@moomin7461 the beginning includes a cat falling on both , you cause chaos to people in both. And like in stray there is similar movement /platform if eg ac units pipes. Ect
